Like the Healing Music and Loud Music soundtracks before it, the B-Side CD could only be obtained from Club Nintendo by redeeming 400 points. Also unlike the previous soundtracks is that this one does not focus on a particular theme, instead featuring a variety of different types of music.
With over half of the CD containing Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, Wario, and Donkey Kong tunes, the B-Side CD has more Mario-related music than any of the previous two volumes in the series. Mario tracks includes Luigi's Mansion, Super Mario Bros. 2, WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$!, WarioWare: Touched!, Yoshi Touch & Go, Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island, Yoshi's Story, 'Dr. Mario, Mario Kart: Double Dash!!, Mario Kart 64, Donkey Kong Jungle Beat, Super Mario Sunshine and even Mario Artist: Talent Studio.
