Mega Dry Bones's Femur Fever is a Boss Battle minigame appearing in Mario Party: Star Rush.

Intro[edit]

Mega Dry Bones reassembles itself and roars as each player in a bubble floats down to their platform and pops, starting the game.

Gameplay[edit]

Players need to Ground Pound the platform they're standing on to launch a cannonball at Mega Dry Bones. Each ground pound lights up one light out of three. If all three are filled, a cannonball is launched. Each cannonball shot earns the player one point. If the Ground Pound is done at the peak of their jump (indicated by sparkling stars surrounding the character for a short time), then two lights are lit up instead of just one. The more allies on a player's team, the faster they can launch cannonballs. Mega Dry Bones can also attack by throwing a bone that goes through each players' platforms in a straight line, starting at either Player 4 or at Player 1. Any player who fails to jump over it loses a point and is stunned for a short time. When Mega Dry Bones' health bar goes past the halfway mark, the bones he throws are now on fire and he attacks more frequently. Despite the cosmetic differences, the bone still functions like before. The player who deals the final attack earns an extra 3 points.

Ending[edit]

Mega Dry Bones breaks apart and falls off the platform it was standing on. In Toad Scramble, his shell lands on the same platform and breaks, releasing a Star. In other modes, the shell falls off the platform.
