As long as you have at least 10 Coins, you can use something called a Battle Spin. The premise is that there's a bunch of cards that spin face down one after another. Spend 20 more Coins to flip each card around so you can see the contents as they get closer. Spend 30 more Coins after that to slow down the cards so you can tap the one you want to use; preferably a thing replica (unless it's against the Koopalings).
|11='''Owen's Gaming Tip No. 12:''' Have you tried using a replica in ''[[Paper Mario: Color Splash|Paper Mario: Colour Splash]]'' against a group of enemies? They work just like Things, but behave differently in boss battles. Using the Koopalings' weakness like normal lets you DESTROY them and let you crush them easily. Use that same weakness as a replica and you'll find some pretty disastrous results. Just search "paper mario color splash replicas" on YouTube and click on the first video listing you see to see what I mean.

Owen's Gaming Tip No. 9: For pretty much every portable system in existence, you have to check battery life. If your 3DS has a red light near the Power button, that's a cue to plug it in a nearby charger. If there's a flashing red light at the StreetPass indicator, you should plug it in almost immediately, otherwise you risk losing your progress.
