The Tornado[1] is a plane owned by Sonic that appears throughout the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise. This plane makes one appearance within the Super Mario franchise: in the Tokyo Sky Flight minigame in Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020. During this minigame, Mario drives the Tornado while Sonic stands on the area at the front. The Tornado can shoot out bullets, and it can also twirl to destroy enemies.
