Opening Statement

Hello, 'Shroom readers! This month, there's a little news to report.

-Yoshi876 has been hired as the Pipe Plaza co-director, alongside Paper Yoshi. See the Pipe Plaza for more info on that.

Not much else to say, but I've got some stuff to talk about regarding the Special Issue, so that'll be in my closing statement. See you then!

Section of the Month

Hello, 'Shroom readers; Superchao here with the April Section of the Month results! In third was KP's From the Mushroom Vaults, discussing the red coins located in the Dark World from Super Mario 64. Second was actually a three-way tie between Paper Yoshi's Mario Calender, covering release dates from April past; FunkyK38's Brawl Tactics, with advice on how to handle Shadow Moses Island; and my Interview, where I interviewed current Brawl Tactics writer Timmy.

The 'Shroom Spotlight

Shroom Spotlight Lakitu.png

Hey there 'Shroomers! It's that time of the month again, and you all know what that means! That's right, a new edition of the 'Shroom Spotlight is out, hooray™! Time to get out your old Mario golf clubs, because this month we're hitting the green and tackling six golf-themed focuses in light of the recent release of Mario Golf: World Tour! What's that, you say? Another themed spotlight?! Well we think it's a good idea, and we're out of good ideas have you seen the back of my 9-Iron, it's amazing! *THWACK*

Fake News

Hello and welcome to Fake News. Some of you more observant readers may have noticed that I am not MCD, this is because he’s extremely busy this month and has asked me to be Acting Fake News Director god knows why.

Last month’s Section of the Month’s winner was Monthly Inquisition, written by Lord Bowser (talk), with 31 votes, it’s a bit of a shame he didn’t submit it this month. Obituaries, written by myself and Peddler’s Place, written by Toadbert101 (talk) came joint second with 13 votes each.

Fun Stuff

Director's Notes (Super Mario Bros. (talk))

Greetings! We have another edition of Fun Stuff this month, and I'm glad to welcome KP (talk) and YoshiToad04 (talk) to the team as the writers of Guess Who! and Guess That Game!, respectively. I look forward to working with our newer writers, and implore anybody interested in signing up for our team to check out our sign up page and shoot me a Private Message with the application form. We are always looking for good writers and contributors!

Palette Swap

Director's Notes (FunkyK38 (talk))

Hello, everyone! Welcome to the May issue of Palette Swap! I’m very excited to introduce a new section, written by our very own Yoshi876 (talk): Ongoing Fan Projects! Here, you can read about all the art opportunities and projects active in the forums! Be sure to check his section out for sure! Onto the art! ~FunkyK38

Pipe Plaza

Director's Notes (Paper Yoshi (talk))

Hello, ladies and gentlemen, and welcome to the May Issue of Pipe Plaza!! As with last month, I have news for you, so let's not waste time!

After a lot of thinking, and with all the problems I've been facing for a long time, I decided it was time to change. I clearly couldn't do this on my own anymore, so I started looking for crazy users who wanted to work alongside me. After considering the options we had, the staff and I finally chose the new Co-Director around last month's issue release.

Critic Corner

Director's Notes (Palkia47 (talk))

Same ol’, same ol’. We are looking for writers, so if you are interested, please contact me!

We also do not have a section of the month due to the lack of a section last month. I am sincerely sorry about that!

Brawl Tactics

Hey Brawlers, what is up?! Timmy here... Writing his sixth and final article for Brawl Tactics.

Yes, unfortunately, this will be the last article I write for Brawl. I've been very busy with my life due to school, and I'm even going to be busy in the summer as well. Brawl is also reaching its end with the upcoming Smash 4 as well... But, it's definitely been a great pleasure writing for the 'Shroom and being able to express myself. Thank you guys so much for the support! Wouldn't have made it here without you guys!

Mario Calendar

Paper Yoshi

Hi, readers, and welcome to the May Issue of Mario Calendar!! I... guess there's no news on this section just yet, so it's time to check all the Mario, DK, Yoshi and Wario games released during the bestest month ever created by humanity my birthday month, May. :)

Closing Statement

Closing Statement

Hello, 'Shroom readers! Your Director here... I should really find where my sub-director went. Anyhow, regardless, something of a theme has been set for Special Issue 88 - thanks to a good coincidence of timing, it'll be tying into Mario Kart 8! Feel free to submit a guest section or two if you want, and we'll of course be inviting a number of people.

Also, we're having a large lack of sections. Please sign up, or if you're already signed up, make sure to actually send in your sections, thanks. As always, signing up is as easy as filling out the form and sending it to the right director. Anyhow, that's all for this month, so see you in June!
