Sparks Tier List

Written by: Sparks (talk)

As you all know, I'm a huge fan of Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope. I've created many articles for the game right here on the Mario Wiki! With The 'Shroom having an outer space themed issue, I felt it was perfect for me to write something related to Sparks of Hope. So, I came up with the idea of ranking every single Spark from the game!

All Sparks are ranked in tiers ranging from S to C. Why is C tier the lowest? That's because I didn't find any Spark to be useless, just mediocre at worst. This section is inspired by Ninelevendo (talk)'s Badge tier list from issue 208, where he ranked all Badges in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door and explained why each Badge received their selected tier. This is basically that, but with Sparks instead. I've also copied the table and altered it a little to have it fit for Sparks instead of Badges...

I will be ranking each Spark based on their ability, passive bonus, and if they're great for most of the game. This tier list is subjective, as it's my opinion. You may not agree on some placements of these Sparks and that's perfectly OK! You can create your own Spark tier list if you want. If you decide to do so, have fun!

Before I discuss the Sparks in detail, here's the complete tier list for you to see!

Shroom225 Spark tier list.jpg

To clarify:

  • S tier is for the best Sparks
  • A tier is for great Sparks
  • B tier is for Sparks that are good/OK
  • C tier is for mediocre Sparks

I'm not ranking Twinkle, Decibel, Drizzle, Quiz Host and Movie Director because they cannot be used in battle.

Let's get started with this, shall we?

Spark Power Bonus ability Description Tier
Artwork of Starburst from Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope
Starburst
Turbocharge Physical Protector Do you know what's awesome? Starburst is the first Spark unlocked, and it's one of the best in the game! Its ability, Turbocharge, increases the attack power of the user and all others in range. When fully leveled up, this power boost rises to an incredible 60%, allowing for lots of destruction to be had. Luigi and Rabbid Mario benefit the most because of their high-damaging weapons, but I feel Rabbid Mario is the best to receive the boost, especially if he has two Attack Master Sparks or an Elemental effect. Even the mightiest of foes (and bosses) fall easily to Starburst's power. Its bonus ability, Physical Protector, reduces damage taken from physical attacks, with a maximum of 35% when fully upgraded. Many of the enemies have physical attacks, which makes Starburst even more valuable. This is a Spark to have throughout the game - you just can't go wrong with Starburst! S
Exosphere from Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope
Exosphere
Fortify Athlete Exosphere is the complete opposite of Starburst, providing defense to heroes instead of offense. Its Fortify ability reduces ALL damage taken from enemy attacks (up to 55%). Unlike Starburst, Fortify lasts two turns instead of one, but this is only true once Exosphere reaches level 4. Because of the extra duration provided, you'll feel even more safe during the battle! Exosphere pairs well with other Sparks that provide defense, like any elemental Spark or Starburst/Wildclaw Master, as the damage reduction bonuses will stack up, greatly reducing damage taken or even making it zero! Exosphere has the Athlete bonus, allowing heroes to deal more damage with their movement-based attacks. This is a nice Spark to have on movement-oriented heroes like Edge or Bowser, and I always gave it to one of them if I equipped them. Another great Spark to have throughout your galactic journey. S
Ethering from Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope
Ethering
Unseen Athlete Ethering is one of the most broken Sparks, and I'll explain why! Its Unseen ability makes a hero invisible for up to two turns, preventing them from being directly targeted by enemies. They can still receive damage however, so don't be reckless against enemies like Squashettes and Magikoopas! But man, Ethering opens up so, so, so, SO many opportunities for players. You could have Rabbid Mario sneak into the enemy base and demolish everyone for example. I love equipping Ethering to Rabbid Rosalina so she can slip into a large group of enemies and put them all to sleep, allowing Rabbid Mario to arrive next turn to punch the daylights out of my foes. It's even more satisfying to stop those darn Lone Wolves! The best part is that you'll be invisible for 2/3 of the battle, as there's only one cooldown turn before you can become invisible again. Ethering's Athlete passive is alright, but it's pretty much only for Edge because of her strong Dashes. But overall, Ethering is broken. S
Regenesis in Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope
Regenesis
Regen Healing Booster I was debating on putting Regenesis in A tier instead, but after thinking about it, Regenesis deserves the S rank. Its ability, Regen, greatly heals a hero by 40% of their max HP each turn for up to three turns, essentially making them invincible unless you're dealing with Wildclaws or something. Like Ethering, there's only one turn of no regenerating before you can activate it again. The only downside is the healing doesn't come right away, but that's more of a nitpick. If you want immediate healing, have Rabbid Peach or use a Mushroom! The bonus ability, Healing Booster increases the HP of the hero Regenesis is equipped to, with a maximum of 35% bonus HP. Give it to Rabbid Mario and you've got one heck of a tank! Another fantastic Spark. S
Artwork of Glitter from Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope
Glitter
Gather 'Round Attack Master Here's another broken Spark, this time in the form of a disco ball! Glitter has the Gather 'Round ability, which attracts all enemies in range right next to the user. Similar to Ethering, it opens up a lot of opportunities, especially for Rabbid Mario and Rabbid Rosalina. Shockwave/Skyrain Sparks also get time to shine. When I first played the game, Rabbid Rosalina had Glitter ever since I unlocked it. She had BOTH Ethering and Glitter, so you can imagine the chaos that ensued. Glitter's passive is Attack Master, which only encourages players to give it to Rabbid Mario. What? He had a similar ability in Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle! Easily one of my favorite Sparks. S
Wildclaw Master from Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope
Wildclaw Master
Summon Wildclaw Physical Protector Wildclaw Master is the first of five "summoning" Sparks to cover in the rankings. This one has, fittingly, "Summon Wildclaw", which summons a very sturdy Wildclaw who deals very high close-range area damage. Its stats are impressive, and it even has that annoying "chase after the attacker when attacked" passive that only allows for more hits! This is a reliable unit to summon because it can only go so far, so you can "target" isolated enemies and destroy them with ease. Summoned Wildclaws are especially helpful against Flamin' Stooges due to being resistant to the Burn Super Effect, but they are vulnerable to Sea Stooges and Riptides due to their Splash-based attacks. You can also make Wildclaws be decoys, especially against Lone Wolves, but I recommend using them to damage foes instead. Wildclaw Master's bonus ability is Physical Protector, increasing defense against physical attacks. Awesome! S
Oozer Master from Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope
Oozer Master
Summon Oozer Attack Master Oozer Master has "Summon Oozer", which summons a helpful Oozer to fight for you with Ooze-based attacks. Everyone hates Oozers because of their disabling techniques, but now you have that power! That's one reason why Oozer Master reached S tier - you get to disable enemies' attacks and abilities (though not both at the same time) by simply summoning one, rendering even the strongest of foes harmless for a turn! I will admit that the Oozer's Ooze attacks can be annoying if you don't have Ooze Resistance, so watch out for that. Of course, the Attack Master passive ability helped secure the S rank as well, because who doesn't like additional attack power? S
The Spark Selfie in Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope
Selfie
Self-Service Critical Buddy Being exclusive to the "Rayman in the Phantom Show" DLC doesn't hinder this Spark's placement whatsoever! Selfie has Self-Service, which summons a controllable copy of the user! This copy has less HP and attack power, and cannot use Sparks, but it's not about the stats! You have another character to perform Team Jumps with! This character can Dash enemies to allow Rayman's sentries to attack them! A copy of Rabbid Mario can deal more damage, while one of Rabbid Peach provides extra healing! I prefer equipping Selfie to Rabbid Mario for more HP and damage, but I've seen plenty of others give it to Rabbid Peach. The bonus ability is Critical Buddy, which increases the chances of Critical Hits... nice. Just imagine the potential Selfie could have if it could be used in the main story, usable by everyone and not just Rabbid Peach and Rabbid Mario... S
Artwork of Reflector from Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope
Reflector
Reflect Attack Master Now we're at A tier, and Reflector kicks it off! Reflector has the Reflect ability, which reduces ALL damage received to the user for one turn, while also reflecting back a percentage of the damage dealt to the attacker! Both go up to 60%, and one strategy I use for this Spark is to make someone a decoy (usually Rabbid Mario) and make all the enemies attack them, making them all take damage! This Spark pairs well with Exosphere, as both defense boosts will nullify all damage taken for a turn! Reflector definitely has its uses, but I prefer Exosphere's team protection that lasts two turns, but I still find myself bringing Reflector from time to time. It has the Attack Master passive, once again making it a great Spark for Rabbid Mario. Great! A
Toxiquake from Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope
Toxiquake
Shockwave Ooze Ooze Protector Get ready, because a majority of the A rank recipients are Shockwave/Skyrain Sparks! They're pretty much the same, just with different elements, so it makes sense to group them all up in one tier. Toxiquake has Shockwave Ooze, striking all enemies within a range of 13m with three shockwaves dealing Ooze damage. This is the first Spark of its kind to unlock in the story, so new players will have fun destroying groups of weak enemies (Goombas, Stooges, Squashers) with Toxiquake. A big group attack is nice to have on anyone, especially those who don't have area attacks, like Luigi and Rabbid Peach. Speaking of Rabbid Peach, I make her my support character and give her Starburst and a Spark like Toxiquake. Toxiquake's also nice to use throughout the game due to the prevalence of foes weak to Ooze-based attacks, and because Toxicomet isn't unlocked until Terra Flora, basically making Toxiquake your only source of Ooze damage. Its passive ability is Ooze Protector, which reduces all Super Effect damage received while making the hero immune to the Ooze Super Effect. This Spark and the ones to follow are great to have when dealing with any Super Effect simply because of reducing damage. A
Pyrogeddon from Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope
Pyrogeddon
Skyrain Burn Burn Protector First Skyrain Spark here, and it's Pyrogeddon! It has the Skyrain Burn ability, which causes fiery meteors to rain down within a range of 9m, Burning and damaging all foes struck while also demolishing cover. This attack is especially powerful against grouped-up enemies or those hiding behind cover because they'll receive more hits and take lots more damage as result. Also useful for reaching Scopers and Lone Wolves atop different elevations! Pyrogeddon's passive is Burn Protector, which is basically Ooze Protector but provides immunity to the Burn Super Effect instead of Ooze. Sometimes it's worth it to equip when dealing with Flamin' Stooges. A
Zephyrquake from Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope
Zephyrquake
Shockwave Gust Gust Protector Zephyrquake is next, and it has the Shockwave Gust ability, which sends out three shockwaves that damage and inflict the Gust Super Effect to those hit. Useful if you want to push enemies out of bounds or deal heavy damage to Oozers and Spellraisers. To avoid repeating dragging this out for too long, I'll only add new information to the remaining Shockwave/Skyrain Sparks instead of repeating myself. Zephyrquake has Gust Protector, which is useful when dealing with Squashettes and Ghostly Walkers. Reducing Super Effect damage is always nice to have. A
Electrogeddon in Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope
Electrogeddon
Skyrain Shock Shock Protector Pyrogeddon, but with Shock instead of Burn. On the plus side, enemies won't scatter and end up in random locations but instead get shocked in place, increasing the damage dealt. There are plenty of foes weak to Shock, and this helps against all of them, including the beefy Riptides! Shock Protector is still good. A
Vampastra from Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope
Vampastra
Vamp Attack Critical Buddy Finally, a Spark that's different! Vampastra's ability is Vamp Attack, which increases the attack power of a hero's weapon attacks for one turn, while also healing them for 30% of the damage dealt. The elemental Sparks affecting weapons will be covered later, but Vampastra here is in A tier because no enemy is resistant to lifesteal, making it usable in all situations. Even those resistant to all Super Effects aren't safe from Vampastra! Mario, Luigi and Rabbid Mario are the best characters to equip Vampastra to because of their powerful attacks (in the case of Mario and Luigi, their reaction attacks). Vampastra also has the Critical Buddy bonus, which is especially helpful for Luigi due to his incredibly strong critical hits. A
Aquaquake in Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope
Aquaquake
Shockwave Splash Splash Protector Shockwaves that cause Splash? Knock those annoying enemies away from you with ease! Well, unless they resist the Splash Super Effect. Splash Protector is especially helpful when dealing with Sea Stooges (and Riptides, to a lesser extent). You don't wanna be bounced around the battlefield! Aquaquake is especially helpful when fighting Flamin' Stooges and Wildclaws. A
A screenshot of the Spark Cryogeddon from Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope.
Cryogeddon
Skyrain Frostbite Frostbite Protector Cryogeddon causes icy meteors to rain down, causing the Frostbite Super Effect. I love pinning enemies in place so they don't move, especially Wildclaw variants. If only it was unlocked in Palette Prime, where Ghostly Walkers and Squashettes are most common, but better late than never, right? At least Cryogeddon earns more time to shine in the "Rayman in the Phantom Show" DLC due to Bravados being weak to Frostbite! Frostbite Protector is situational due to the rarity of Deep Freezes, but it'll still help by weakening the damage of Super Effects in general. A
Gargantu-Fan from Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope
Gargantu-fan
Kong Cameo Healing Booster Gargantu-fan operates similarly to any Shockwave Spark, but it's a little bit different from them! With its Kong Cameo ability, Rabbid Kong shows up to cause a huge wave in a range of 13m, destroying cover and dealing a single heavy hit of damage to all enemies within range, bouncing them away. Because this attack is a physical attack, even those resistant to Splash get bounced back. Despite being unlocked far in Barrendale Mesa, Gargantu-fan has some use in the short time left in the game. Despite being good for any situation, I still placed Gargantu-fan in A tier because I don't think it has enough strength to reach S tier, despite featuring Rabbid Kong. I also usually chose the appropriate Shockwave/Skyrain Sparks to counter specific enemies I'm about to fight. Gargantu-fan also has the Healing Booster bonus, increasing the maximum HP of a hero, so that's good! It makes it useful against all forms of damage. A
Scoper Master from Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope
Scoper Master
Summon Scoper Critical Buddy Scoper Master is the next summoning Spark to talk about. It has "Summon Scoper", which brings in a Scoper ally into battle to help you out. Summoned Scopers usually distance themselves from the enemies and snipe them from afar. Backline support is nice to have, especially if Luigi isn't in the battle. I ranked Scoper Master in A tier because sometimes the Scoper can be stupid and attack the wrong enemy, and I especially dislike it when they attack Goombas and Armored Goombas. But against bosses and giant enemies, Scopers gradually chip away at their HP! Scopers are frail, especially against Burn-based attacks, so keep them safe. Critical Buddy is great to have on Luigi and Bowser, as both of them have powerful but rare critical hits. A
Screenshot of the Spark Vampgeddon
Vampgeddon
Skyrain Lifesteal Healing Amplifier And here we have the final Skyrain Spark! Vampgeddon is similar to Vampastra, a Spark who's similar to others of its same type but provides a Vamp effect that's useful in any situation. Raining Lifesteal meteors on unsuspecting foes while also healing by 30% of the damage dealt is great, but once again I prefer bringing in elemental Sparks that help deal with the enemies in the current battle. You can't deny how devastating this could be for enemies grouped up by Glitter! Imagine the healing that comes with it too... Anyway, Vampgeddon has the Healing Amplifier passive, which increases the healing power of all sources by up to 35%. It pairs well with Vampgeddon! A
Artwork of Electroquake from Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope
Electroquake
Shockwave Shock Shock Protector And here we are at the final A tier Spark - Electroquake. Another Shockwave Spark, this time causing Shock (ha)! Electroquake has the disadvantage of only being available in DLCs, but Tidal Golems beware! It's still the same as other Shockwave Sparks, so it still gets the A rank. Electroquake also has Shock Protector, but we all know what that does. Also helps against Shockin' Golems! A
A screenshot of Pyrostar from Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope.
Pyrostar
Burn Attack Burn Protector And so begins the B tier Sparks! Spoiler alert: all of the elemental weapon Sparks are here. Starting with Pyrostar, it has the Burn Attack ability, which increases the attack power of the user's weapon attacks, while also imbuing them with the Burn Effect. It's the first one of its kind to join the heroes in the story, and is great for getting rid of Scopers, Deep Freezes, and Lone Wolves, all enemies encountered early on in the game. I will say right now that all Elemental Sparks affecting weapons are in B tier because they are good, but useful in specific battles rather than most/all of them. Pyrostar also has Burn Protector, so take that Flamin' Stooges! B
Artwork of Aquanox from Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope
Aquanox
Splash Attack Splash Protector Pyrostar, but Splash-based instead of Burn-based. That means it's useful against Flamin' Stooges and Wildclaws, the former being encountered pretty often in the first three planets. Splash Protector shines against Sea Stooges and Riptides, if you're having trouble staying away from them. B
Screech from Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope
Screech
Whoopsgottago Critical Buddy This is an unpopular opinion, but I don't think Screech is as good as others say it is. It has the Whoopsgottago ability (probably the best name of any ability!), which repels all enemies away from the hero. I'd rather bring the enemies to me rather than scare them away. But hold on, because I do find uses for Screech! Screech is very useful against the giant enemies of each planet, because as the enemies run, that makes them vulnerable to reaction attacks from Mario, Luigi, and Edge. By giving Mario Screech and an Attack Master Spark, Luigi with Vampastra and an Attack Master Spark, and having both of them buffed by Starburst, they can deal MASSIVE damage against the fleeing boss, draining half (or maybe more) of their HP in a single turn. I don't use Screech for anything else, but because of this incredible strategy reliant on Screech, it gets in B tier instead of C. Critical Buddy I've explained multiple times before, so maybe this is the Spark for Luigi? You want enemies to stay away from him while he deals powerful critical hits, right? B
Cryobolide in Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope
Cryobolide
Frostbite Attack Frostbite Protector The Spark that allows for Frostbite-based attacks! Because Cryogeddon isn't unlocked until Terra Flora (in an optional Secret Zone too!), Cryobolide will be your go-to for Frostbite attacks and resistance. Especially useful in Palette Prime because of the many Ghostly Walkers and Squashettes you'll battle against. Frostbite Protector isn't just for protecting you from the Frostbite Super Effect - it's great against all Super Effects! B
Electroid from Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope
Electroid
Shock Attack Shock Protector Shock-based attacks at your disposal! Electroid shines against those pesky Sea Stooges, Depleters and Riptides, and still has uses even after Electrogeddon is unlocked. Shock Attack is good as always. B
Zephystar
Zephystar
Gust Attack Gust Protector Unlike most other Elemental Sparks, this one is optional. If you wanna have Luigi or Rabbid Mario demolish Oozers and Spellraisers with Gust attacks, go right ahead. I find myself equipping this Spark (and Zephyrquake too) to protect myself from Squashettes. I even used it in the Giant Squashette fight! B
Artwork of Vampdash from Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope
Vampdash
Vamp Dash Athlete Sadly, the Dash Sparks are my least favorite types of Sparks. While they all have short cooldowns, only heroes with multiple Dashes can make the best of them. Because Edge has the strongest and highest amount of Dashes, she's the ideal hero to equip them to. Even then, Edge wouldn't reach this great status until later on in the game when you obtain the Skill Prisms to upgrade her Dashes. Vampdash has the Vamp Dash ability (again, ha!), which increases the power of the user's Dashes while also healing them by 30% of the damage dealt. Like Vampastra, Vampdash is one tier higher than their elemental versions because of being useful in any situation. Sometimes you need to deal just a little more damage to finish off wounded enemies, so that's where Vampdash comes in. At least you'll be able to deal consistent damage every other turn right? Athlete complements well with Vampdash, because you want to deal more Dash Damage with a Dash-oriented Spark. B
A screenshot of Pulser from Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope.
Pulser
Revive Healing Amplifier Here's another controversial placement you may not agree with. Pulser has the Revive ability, which revives all heroes in range with up to 70% of their max HP. Pulser is also the only way to bring back defeated heroes, making it even more special. I don't normally equip Pulser because I make sure they don't get KO'd in the first place. I'll also point out that if the hero with Pulser happens to get knocked out, there's no way to revive anyone for the rest of the fight! Pulser does shine in survival battles, boss battles and giant enemy fights, especially in "The Tower of Doooom" where losing a team member in a long, tough battle is basically a game over. That's what made Pulser barely scrape by C tier. Healing Amplifier isn't the best ability, but I guess it's to ensure the hero doesn't get KO'd? B
Toxicomet from Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope
Toxicomet
Ooze Attack Ooze Protector Poor Toxicomet is unlocked at the very end of Terra Flora, but like any other weapon element Spark, it does its job. Players may still continue to use Toxiquake due to being so used to it, but Toxicomet is not useless. I found it to be a great choice during the "A Fowl Windmill Blows" battle, because it allows Luigi to shoot down the Magnafowls from afar with Ooze attacks. Like the other elemental Sparks, it's situational, but great for the right conditions. Ooze Protector is nice. B
Squashette Master from Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope
Squashette Master
Summon Squashette Healing Amplifier Squashette Master is an interesting Spark. It has the "Summon Squashette" ability, which summons a Squashette ally. The summoned Squashette travels far and delivers gust area attacks to scatter enemies, but it's very unpredictable. While Wildclaw Master had short-ranged Wildclaws, they at least had strong HP and power, but Squashettes don't have nearly as much, making them somewhat fragile. But hey, it's another ally on your side, and Oozers and Spellraisers beware! I just think the other summonable units are better and more reliable, even the Scopers. Healing Amplifier isn't the best, especially because there is no healing involved with this Spark. B
Screenshot of the Spark Berserk
Berserk
Frenzy Healing Booster Berserk is a niche but highly effective Spark when used under the right circumstances. Its ability is Frenzy, which increases the attack power and defense of the user (up to 8% for each) for each enemy within a range of 15m. If you can get a lot of enemies in one spot (Glitter!), you can create an insanely powerful character for one turn and wreak havoc on everything. Most battles don't have a ton of enemies at the same time, so Berserk is best saved for Madame Bwahstrella's Gateway Challenge and the "Surviving the Outcasts" battle in the Melodic Gardens. Of the heroes, Rabbid Mario and maybe Edge are pretty much the only ones who can deliver strong attacks against so many enemies at once, so Berserk's use is very limited. Still, it's quite effective at what it does, so it's worth a try. Healing Booster tells you that you NEED to give it to Rabbid Mario. B
Artwork of Mayhem from Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope
Mayhem
Hypnotize Athlete Mayhem is an odd Spark, and I'm not saying that because of his hypnotic swirly glasses. His ability is Hypnotize, which makes a random enemy within 9m fight for you for one turn. There's also a 35% chance to Hypnotize up to three other enemies within range, allowing for more possible allies. Being locked to DLCs isn't the only thing holding back Mayhem, but also because of his ability being based on RNG. You're guaranteed to Hypnotize at least one enemy, but you have no control over who it is. Because of this, try to isolate your target so you can temporarily get them in your side. There's also RNG involved with getting more enemies to fight for you. There are some dangerous foes out there, so if used right, you can get special advantages, like a Medician's Heal/Protection or an Oozer's Disable (like a second but temporary Oozer from Oozer Master). I didn't really bother with Mayhem, but there's potential to be had here. Athlete is good, especially since Mayhem encourages players to get close to enemies to Hypnotize them. B
The Spark Cryoquake in Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope’'
Cryoquake
Shockwave Frostbite Frostbite Protector Cryoquake is the final Shockwave Spark, but this one causes Frostbite, locking enemies to one location unless they're immune to the Frostbite Super Effect! It's only in the "Rayman in the Phantom Show" DLC, but said DLC does have plenty of Squashettes, Ghostly Walkers and Bravados, all of which are weak to Frostbite. So... why is Cryoquake in B tier instead of A tier you ask? That's because the range of Shockwave Frostbite is only 9m instead of the typical 13m expected of a Shockwave Spark, essentially making it a worse Cryogeddon. In fact, Cryogeddon has the same range but deals more damage, strikes different elevations and destroys cover. If Cryoquake did have 13m range, it would've been A tier. Why does poor Cryoquake have less range than the other Shockwave Sparks? Was it a developer oversight? The world may never know... Oh, and Frostbite Protector is good. B
Electrodash from Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope
Electrodash
Shock Dash Shock Protector And here we are at the lowest tier - C tier. All four Sparks here are Dash Sparks, and I said earlier that the Dash Sparks are my least favorite ones. Electrodash here has Shock Dash, which could allow Edge to easily take down foes weak to Shock. If you don't have Edge on the team, don't bother using this Spark (or the other Dash ones) unless you want extra Super Effect resistance. C
Aquadash from Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope
Aquadash
Splash Dash Splash Protector Basically Electrodash but Splash-based. Flamin' Stooges and Wildclaws will be shaking in their boots if you give this to Edge, but don't bother otherwise unless those Sea Stooges prove to be frustrating to fight. You could also continuously bounce an enemy out of bounds with Aquadash, so there's that. C
Zephyrdash from Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope
Zephyrdash
Gust Dash Gust Protector Now for the Gust one! Zephyrdash is similar to Aquadash, being able to knock around enemies with Dashes, but dealing Gust damage instead. Like Aquadash, you could constantly knock foes out of bounds, but due to not being an ongoing Super Effect, this is less effective. Enemies affected by the Gust Super Effect do travel farther than Splashed ones though. You could also use it as a Gust Resistance Spark. C
Screenshot of the Spark Cryodash
Cryodash
Frostbite Dash Frostbite Protector The final Spark of the rankings! Cryodash is not only introduced in an optional side quest in the "The Last Spark Hunter" DLC, but it also has very limited use. Edge is not available in the "Rayman in the Phantom Show" DLC, so it's pretty much only effective in the Melodic Gardens. You shouldn't use this Spark for Frostbite Protector, but instead to freeze enemies in place every other turn. C

And that concludes my Spark rankings! Like I said earlier; not one of these Sparks are useless, as they all fit different playstyles and should be used to their full potential in many situations to make the most of them. These were ranked based on how I felt about them after playing the game multiple times. I hope you enjoyed hearing me talk about Rabbid/Luma hybrids from a game I enjoy. Thanks for reading, and Happy Holidays, and Happy New Year!
