Argue to keep as seperate article

The burden of proof lies with proving it isn't canon, not the inverse. Furthermore, Wario's Mother is listed categorically as an implied character, much like King K. Rool's wife and Hamma Jamma's father and grandfather. We know he has to have parents anyway, but the fact that she was mentioned, I believe, more than merits an article. Additionally, a merge with the main Mario Power Tennis article doesn't seem practical. Additionally, Link appeared in Super Mario RPG, technically, and I highly doubt his appearance is "canon", yet we acknowledge him for this appearance. How much more should we acknowledge an actual Mario character, canon or otherwise? To me the game's mention is adequette. ChrisAlassal 00:51, 5 March 2007 (EST)

Also is this some kind of fake hilarious made-up Bloopers (not the octopus kind) that "appeared during" the making of the game? If so then it is canon. Because it DID happen during the "making of the game" and Wario odes have a mother. Paper Jorge (Talk·Contribs)

Article title

Would it be more accurate to call this article "Ma"? That's the only name she's called by, and we could redirect "Wario's Mother" to here, right? Or, the article title could be Ma (Wario's Mother). Whatcha think? --Stumpers

Change the name

The article’s name is “Wario’s mother,” but there is some coverage on Wario’s father. So, I’m saying I think the article should be “Wario’s parents” and in the 2 sections where there is no coverage on Wario’s father, it only talks about his mother. See what I mean? Also, in the Spanish and French manuals of Mega Microgame$, Crygor says he created Wario. Would that mean he’s his dad and a “Notes” section could be added that says that? Move to "Wario's parents" and cover Wario's father

Rename the page and cover the father 8-0-0
Based on the proposal above me. As far as I'm aware, the father's only appearance in any official media was in a 4-koma from a volume of Super Mario-Kun, in which he appears alongside the mother. In this strip, all of his actions are done alongside his wife, making them a duo character of some sort like Kat & Ana or The Iron Adonis Twins. As such, I believe this article should be renamed to "Wario's parents" to give full coverage to the father as well, while the history sections where only the mother is referenced are kept the same. If this proposal doesn't get passed, then I think a separate page for Wario's father should be made.

@Brett This proposal currently violates Rule 6 by not having a proper status quo option (the current "oppose" option creates a page for the father, which isn't status quo). This proposal can still be updated to add a proper status quo option by changing the second option to "Create a separate page for the father" and adding a third option called "Do nothing".
