Merge into Ashley's Theme[edit]

A Yellow Block from Super Mario World This talk page section contains an unresolved talk page proposal. Please try to help and resolve the issue by voting or leaving a comment.

Current time: Friday, October 31, 2025, 16:59 GMT

Same as here, extremely short and is a rearrangement of said theme (stated as much in the description itself). I see no reason to keep them seperate.

Proposer: Ihavenoideaboyo (talk)
Deadline: November 13, 2025, 23:59 GMT

Support (Merge pages)[edit]

  1. Ihavenoideaboyo (talk) Per proposal.
  2. Altendo's Theme (record) The theme and most of its information are already on the Ashley's Theme page. Also per my comments on the linked proposal.

Oppose (Pages are left seperate)[edit]

  1. Salmancer (talk) While true, there's an annoying proposal that makes me really really want to reconsider. Remove all subpage and redirect links from all navigational templates does exactly what it says on the tin. If we merge Pumpkin Panic into Ashley's Theme, Pumpkin Panic no longer has a page about Pumpkin Panic. Since navigation templates are only allowed to link to full pages and there would no longer be a full page about Pumpkin Panic, this would force us to remove Pumpkin Panic from Template:WWG souvenirs, which is kind of insane. I can't agree with that on principle, Pumpkin Panic should stay on that navigation template and I'm okay with having a vestige of a page if that is what has to be done.
  2. Altendo's Theme (record) Per Salmancer.
  3. The Dab Master's Theme (record) Per Salmancer.
  4. Camwoodstock (talk) Per Salmancer. If there was some exception carved (like a pumpkin, teehee!) out for the "don't have redirects in navigational templates" ruling for cases such as this, maybe we could understand it? As it stands, however, we don't see a need to complicate this weird edge-case further.
  5. Hewer (talk) I do think that proposal Salmancer brings up should be partially repealed, as I think its main goal (or at least what I had in mind when I voted for it) was to stop having navboxes that link to tiny sections in list pages or that have a bunch of space-wasting links to the same list page, which this is not a case of. For now though, per all.
  6. Ihavenoideaboyo (talk) Per Hewer.
  7. EvieMaybe (talk) an item that plays a song is not the same as the song it plays

Comments[edit]

@Ihavenoideaboyo You can still cancel this proposal until November 3. Altendo 21:31, October 30, 2025 (EDT)

Thanks for letting me know, I'll be sure to do that. How can I do this? Ihavenoideaboyo (talk) 21:58, October 30, 2025 (EDT)
Just denote the proposal as cancelled by way of {{Proposal outcome|canceled}}, and put it in the archive accordingly. Camwoodstock-sigicon.png~Camwoodstock ( talk contribs ) Camwoodstock-sigicon2.png 23:00, October 30, 2025 (EDT)

If the records of the WarioWare series are considered distinct subjects from the music that they play, under what rationale should discs from Donkey Kong Bananza not be given the same treatment? Many discs have unique artwork, and discs are treated as physical objects within gameplay. The justification appears to be simply for consistency with the variety of non-music souvenirs. Implementing separate articles for each disc in Donkey Kong Bananza, of course, is infeasible and should not happen, but I believe defining a policy of delineation in these cases would be helpful. If it helps any, we recently expanded the pages for the record disks in both WarioWare: D.I.Y. and Showcase, and nobody's particularly batted an eye at the format of those. Maybe a table and a list really would be sufficient? But also, again, these haven't been that heavily scrutinized until recently...
