Premature deletion[edit]
I believe that the immediate deletion of the track names in other languages article was premature, as no consensus seemed to be reached in deleting the article, and the deletion policy does not appear to apply to the deletion. The deletion of the article was enabled by moving the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe track titles to its article, which I believe convolutes the article with a redundant table of every track title. Only the English and Japanese track titles of each soundtrack should be placed onto the soundtrack articles, while the separate names in other languages article should be used for track titles in any additional languages. - Alright, fine. I restored the page until a consensus is reached. — Lady Sophie_17
(T|C) 17:52, January 9, 2026 (EST) - At this current point in time, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is the only Super Mario soundtrack with non-English/Japanese track names. I don't see the point in keeping this page around just to keep this one table separate from the soundtrack article, especially when the table can easily be collapsed (as I implemented a bit ago). If you want to argue that its size warrants a dedicated "List of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe track names in other languages on Nintendo Music" page, then go ahead, but at this point I think this page should be retired. All it's doing right now is providing redundant information.

- Agreed (though I will make the minor correction that Mario Kart 7 falls into the same category). Plus, isn't this page ultimately problematic for the same reason "List of Super Mario tracks on Nintendo Music" was? I don't see what makes the table "redundant" anyway, why shouldn't the NIOL be accessible on the relevant page? Is there actually a rule in place that disallows it? - My mistake, thank you for the correction. But yeah, even so, there's no real point to keeping the article around based on those criteria (which I find mildly arbitrary in any case).

- This is a highly neglected page anyway, as nobody has bothered to update any links to relevant theme articles or add any of the more recent Super Mario soundtracks. The Dab Master 18:23, January 9, 2026 (EST)
- The article has been updated to include the intended scope with adjusted links. B700465189a9 (talk) 01:39, January 11, 2026 (EST)
- Intended by who? So far I've only seen agreement that the page is unneeded. I certainly didn't intend for it to be used this way when I created the page last year, nor do I suspect anyone else has.
