Room 4-1 (titled Room 3-1 in the British English version) is the first course of Magnet Mania in Mario vs. Donkey Kong 2: March of the Minis. This level introduces Magnet Ground and Magnetic Blocks.

The course features four Mini Marios.

Overview[edit]

Most of this level is covered in Magnet Ground, except for the wall on the top right. Three of the Mini Marios begin at the bottom of the level, with a nearby Piranha Plant spitting out a fireball. The fourth Mini Mario begins just above the room with the other three Mini Marios, with a row of Magnetic Blocks separating the two. Above them are two more Piranha Plants near the middle of the level, with another row of Magnetic Blocks near the Piranha Plant on the left, and the exit is located in an alcove above the two Piranha Plants. To reach the exit, the player should place Magnetic Blocks in front of the Piranha Plants on the bottom and top left, then guide the Mini Marios across the Magnet Ground and up to the goal.

Mini Mario Card[edit]

The Mini Mario Card is on the top right, above a Piranha Plant. It can be collected by having a Mini Mario walk across the Magnetic Blocks so it ends up on the Magnet Ground below the two Piranha Plants, then block the right Piranha Plant with Magnetic Blocks so the Mini Mario can walk up into the Mini Mario Card.
