Room 3-2 (titled Room 2-2 in the British English version) is the second course of Pipe Works in Mario vs. Donkey Kong 2: March of the Minis. This level introduces Water Valves.

The course features three Mini Marios.

Overview[edit]

The course is divided into four levels: at the bottom are two pools of water connected by a horizontal Water Valve; two rafts float in the left body of water. Near the right body of water is a Warp Pipe which leads to the top left of the level, and above it is a vertical Water Valve; one of the Mini Marios also starts above this Warp Pipe. Directly above the horizontal Water Valve is another Warp Pipe that leads to the top level, and to the right of it is another raft resting on some Pink Blocks. Two Mini Marios start to the left of the middle Warp Pipe, with two shorter Warp Pipes below them. The exit is above the second short pipe and to the left of the long pipe in the middle; to reach it, the player should use the vertical Water Valve to raise the level of the right body of water, then remove the Pink Blocks from underneath the raft on the right. They should then use the horizontal Water Valve to change the level of the two bodies of water so the Minis can board the rafts, enter the middle Warp Pipe, and arrive at the exit.

Mini Mario Card[edit]

The Mini Mario Card is on the left end of the leftmost body of water. To obtain it, the player should drop the right raft into the body of water, then turn the vertical Water Valve to raise its water level. After the Mini Mario crosses the right body of water, they should use the horizontal Water Valve, then have the Mini Mario Walk across the two rafts to the Mini Mario Card.

Star scores[edit]

  • A bronze star symbol. Used as the cleanest possible way to represent bronze stars in Mario vs. Donkey Kong 2: March of the Minis, since ripping sprites cleanly from that game is notoriously difficult. Bronze star: 10950 points
  • A silver star symbol. Used as the cleanest possible way to represent silver stars in Mario vs. Donkey Kong 2: March of the Minis, since ripping sprites cleanly from that game is notoriously difficult. Silver star: 12950 points
  • A gold star symbol. Used as the cleanest possible way to represent gold stars in Mario vs. Donkey Kong 2: March of the Minis, since ripping sprites cleanly from that game is notoriously difficult. Gold star: 27200 points
