Room 3-4 (titled Room 2-4 in the British English version) is the fourth course of Pipe Works in Mario vs. Donkey Kong 2: March of the Minis. This level introduces Thwomps.

The course features three Mini Marios.

Overview[edit]

Two Mini Marios start near the bottom level, one in the bottom left corner and the other slightly above the bottom right. A Thwomp is near the left Mini Mario, and will attempt to fall down and crush it; another Thwomp is on the bottom right, between a row of Pink Blocks and a Warp Pipe leading to a room in the top right containing three Warp Pipes. In the middle of the bottom level is another Warp Pipe which leads to the middle left of the level. A four-way Warp Pipe is in the middle of the level, with a straight Rotate Pipe segment in its center. The vertical portion of the four-way pipe leads to a room in which the third Mini Mario starts. To the right of this room is the room with three pipes: the one on the bottom leads to the ledge on the right side of the four-way pipe, and the leftmost of the two facing down leads to the top left and the exit; however, the player should place a row of Pink Blocks below the exit to ensure that the Minis do not fall down.

Mini Mario Card[edit]

The Mini Mario Card is on a ledge near the bottom left, above the starting position of one of the Mini Marios. To obtain it, the player should direct the topmost Mini Mario into the pipe jutting out from the ceiling, which will send them out onto the ledge with the Mini Mario Card. They must then avoid the nearby Thwomp, either turning away or stopping before it crushes the Mini Mario.
