The math jungle[1] is the location of the "Calculate A" and "Calculate B" modes of Donkey Kong Jr. Math. It features a platform at the top of the screen where Donkey Kong stands and holds up a placard with a number on it, various platforms below with mathematical symbols on them, various chains with numbers on them, and water at the very bottom of the screen. Donkey Kong Jr. and Junior (II) must use the mathematical symbols and the numbers to create equations whose solution matches the number shown on Donkey Kong's placard. Due to the "Calculate A" and "Calculate B" modes being omitted in Donkey Kong Jr. + Jr. Sansū Lesson, the math jungle does not appear in this version of the game.
