Removal of Opposes

Well, we could add images of the enemies in the tables for consistency, just like Superstar Saga. BabyLuigiOnFire (talk)

I had some pics in for a while, but it didn't look very good so I decided to get rid of them. Fawfulfury65 (talk)
Um... couldn't the images have been put in more uh... neatly? To be honest... I think it looks terrible and I regret nominating it now! Shrowser and Elder Princess Shroob look especially terrible... Fawfulfury65 (talk)

@MATEOELBACAN: It doesn't matter whether it's minor or not, in order to become featured, an article has to do everything right, including minor things. It can still become an FA later after it's been fixed, not the other way round. - Cobold (talk)

Okay, Understood. MATEOELBACAN (talk)

I fixed some of the images up, but we need a picture of the Hammer Broz., EPS, and Shrowser, without a nasty background. Also, maybe a better sprite of Kamek and Princess Shroob(that aren't animated gifs). Fawfulfury65 (talk)

In addition, I was seeing the history section and I saw that many images were of the beta game, I believe that would have to go in its respective article and the images of the final game here. MATEOELBACAN (talk)

@Fawfulfury65: Uh, print screen, crop it, and save it as inanimate png? Right now, I'm too lazy (even though it's like, the easiest thing ever) BabyLuigiOnFire (talk)

Huh? How do I do that? Fawfulfury65 (talk)
Uh, never mind. I'll do it. But for your information, I bet every keyboard has a "Print Screen" button, just above the "insert" key BabyLuigiOnFire (talk)
That button doesn't do anything for me... Fawfulfury65 (talk)
Well, did you paste it? It's basically copying and pasta the screen. But anyway, no stress. I already replaced some images. Now, will someone please rip these boss sprites? We need them! And it shouldn't be a hassle. One sprite is not too difficult. BabyLuigiOnFire (talk)

Ok, removed vote. I will abstain until the proper images are implemented in the sections of the bestiary. BabyLuigiOnFire (talk)

No changed the beta images ._.? = Oppose...MATEOELBACAN (talk)

What images are beta? I think they're all from the final version. Fawfulfury65 (talk)
There are almost 4 beta images in the Story Section., you can recognize them because the heart and japanese button ._....MATEOELBACAN (talk)
I found two beta images and replaced them. I don't know what the other ones are. Fawfulfury65 (talk)

Shrowser's sprite is not right. He is glowing and has purple eyes, but this is just regular Bowser. BTW, where did you find that sprite of Elder Princess Shroob? BabyLuigiOnFire (talk)

Found it here. There are no Shrowser sprites anywhere, and that was the closest one. Fawfulfury65 (talk)

The article looks a lot better now...but these beta images must be taken away... MATEOELBACAN (talk)

Which ones are beta??? I replaced the two that I found... Fawfulfury65 (talk)
Wait...I'll erase the beta ones, and then try to find better ones of the final version...MATEOELBACAN (talk)
I erased them and uploaded 2 new...but looks a little missplaced and maybe we'll need another images =/...MATEOELBACAN (talk)
Actually, I think it looks fine, but I didn't read the article... BabyLuigiOnFire (talk)
Why are you voting, then? Also, if there are grammar errors, then it shouldn't be featured. Time Q (talk)
Well, I'm just assuming. I can't be right, you see. BabyLuigiOnFire (talk)
Still, you shouldn't vote on a nomination if you have no idea how good the article is. Time Q (talk)
Well, I was so glad I was wrong! I checked and there was so much stuff to be fixed!! Sorry for being such a stubborn thing. Now I have a reason to vote. BabyLuigiOnFire (talk)

LeftyGreenMario (talk) Only a few sprites (namely the Coconutter and Love Bubble) in the bestiary bother me. Fix those and I'll support.

Why couldn't you do it yourself? You know what site I got those sprites. Expecting me to do all the work, huh? Anyway, no worries. I'll do it. I won't ignore your request, "master". BabyLuigiOnFire (talk)

This is already FA status. Just when we get rid of CoinCollector's oppose vote then this will be a FA. :-] KS3 (talk)

Never mind, we still need to find a Shrowser sprite. KS3 (talk)

@KS3: There is no sprite of Shrowser. The Bowser sprite is the only one that would work. No matter how long I search for his sprite, I never find it! Fawfulfury65 (talk)

@My opposers: Come on, look at the section. It's a one-liner. Reversinator (talk)

You could explain what exactly should be added to the section, then your opposers' votes would be removed. Time Q (talk)
I never played the game, but I don't think we accept one-liner sections in FAs. Reversinator (talk)

Please explain how this is a one-liner.

Out-of-Battle Techniques

The four heroes can use some techniques out of battle. All of the following techniques must be learned by progressing in the game, except for jumping.

Mario and Luigi Techniques

When Mario and Luigi are without the babies outside of battle, they can do the following techniques:

  • Mario and Luigi can both jump.
  • Mario and Luigi can perform a Spin Jump.
  • Mario and Luigi can form a Bros. Ball.

Baby Techniques

When Baby Mario and Baby Luigi are alone outside of battle, they can do the following:

  • The babies can both jump.
  • The babies can use their Hammers.
  • The babies can perform a Baby Drill.
  • Baby Mario can fill himself up with water when near a fountain. Then, Baby Luigi can hit him with his hammer to spit out the water quickly.

All-Character Techniques

There are also techniques where all the heroes are needed. They can do the following:

  • Mario and Luigi can flatten the babies into Baby Cakes.
  • The babies can be picked up by the older bros.
  • The four heroes can perform a Piggyback Jump.
  • Mario and Luigi can perform a Baby Toss, and throw the babies to higher areas.

I have played the game many, many times, and that is all you can do out of battle. All the info is right there! Fawfulfury65 (talk)

Commander Code-8 (talk) When I said the article was started off terribly, I meant that it wasn't written the way the rest of the articles are, how many other game article say it was revealed at an E3?

Unfortunately, Commander Code-8 is right; we need a brief summary of the gameplay, not when it was first unveiled at the E3. Look at other articles for examples we might use. (plus, Commander Code-8, next time, explain to us HOW it started off terribly and don't be too vague) BabyLuigiOnFire (talk)

First unveiled at E3 2005 as Mario & Luigi 2, Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time, was a critical success from the start. Scoring highly on its reviews, the game was loved primarily for its creative, innovative gameplay carried over and revamped from Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga, and for its great use of the "dual- screened" aspect of the Nintendo DS. Several issues people took with the game were its repetitive and seemingly level-based gameplay. One of the most liked aspects of Superstar Saga was its free-roaming overworld, something limited to Peach's Castle in this game.

Part turn-based RPG, part action RPG, and part platformer, Partners in Time took the formula from Superstar Saga and revamped it to take advantage of the Nintendo DS's new features. While it made almost no attempt to utilize the touch screen (Mario must rub the dirt off of an object at one point), the game used the addition of the X and Y buttons, the extra screen, and greater graphical capabilities to pull off the sequel. Mario and Luigi find themselves forced to work together with their younger selves, referred to as Baby Mario and Baby Luigi, as they save the Mushroom Kingdom of the past from the evil Shroobs.

This is not a bad start. The only thing that does with E3 is what I crossed out. It does not need to be written like the other articles, its good to be unique, right? Look, it does talk about gameplay. Just look at the second paragraph. Plus, anything you need to know about gameplay is in the gameplay section. Fawfulfury65 (talk)

Well, they say consistency is golden. Not me.
And here's rule number 6: An FA have a proper lead that gives a good summary of the topic and can be used for the front page featured box. BabyLuigiOnFire (talk)
and I fixed it, so Commander Code-8's oppose vote is invalid. KS3 (talk)
You sure did, I've changed my vote! Commander Code-8 (talk)

I just wish a sysop comes here and vote for the removal of Coincollector's vote. KS3 (talk)

Why don't you just ask him to remove his vote? Time Q (talk)
