Maō is the tenth sample talent in Mario Artist: Talent Studio. They have blue skin, red hair, horns and wings, and wear black and red armor. According to their talent no namae profile, their hometown is the "Demon World" and their hobby/specialty is chess.
Maō also appears as a character in the sample movie "Talent Quest". In the movie, they kidnap and take Momo-hime to their castle and plan to destroy everything in the world. Yūsha Rui attempts to stop them, but he is unsuccessful until he is revived by Momo's prayer, after which he defeats Maō.
