SPEED (movie)
"SPEED"[1] is the third sample movie in Mario Artist: Talent Studio. It is the only sample movie to use a 3D model. The movie is edited to resemble a public service announcement.
Summary[edit]
The movie starts with cards stating that there are many people whose personalities change while driving before presenting Kuruma Daikichi as one such person. A scene is then shown where Kuruma is stretching before stating that the weather is perfect for driving. After getting on the road in his car, Kuruma enters a tunnel. Inside the tunnel, Kuruma starts increasing his speed until he is going at over 110 km/h by the end of it. Meanwhile, an old lady named Sakurada Ume is crossing the road when she notices Kuruma's car approaching at high speed. In an instant, she fires a beam which launches Kuruma's car off the ground. After the car lands, Kuruma asks Sakurada what she is doing while cursing her, and a furious Sakurada retorts that that is what she should be asking. The movie ends with a card telling the viewer to "don't forget [their] mental brakes".
Characters[edit]
Notes[edit]
- While Sakurada is crossing the road, Kazumi Totaka's song plays. This movie and "Boku no Banchō" are the only two official movies to use the song.
- When Sakurada shoots the beam at Kuruma's car, the power-up sound effect from Super Mario Bros. plays.
