Mario gets a Super Mushroom and a Fire Flower.

Streetpass Presents are a game mechanic in Super Mario 3D Land. To obtain Streetpass Presents, the player should turn on Streetpass on their Nintendo 3DS and then go to a Toad House. In the Toad House, Miis found through Streetpass will create gift boxes that will give Mario or Luigi various items and power-ups. If Streetpass Presents are created several times by the same Mii, Mario or Luigi will get bigger presents, which contain more and better items. Streetpass Presents can also be obtained through Spotpass.

There are five varieties of Streetpass presents, each with their own coloration and items. All of the varieties can be obtained one after another from the same Mii, as stated earlier.

  • The first present is white with a red ribbon and contains a Super Mushroom and either a Fire Flower or Super Leaf.
  • The second present is white with a blue ribbon and contains a Fire Flower and Super Leaf.
  • The third present is white with a green ribbon and contains a Super Mushroom, Fire Flower, and Super Leaf.
  • The fourth present is white with a silver ribbon and contains a Super Mushroom, Fire Flower, Super Leaf, and Boomerang Flower. The player will get this present 5 times.
  • The tenth present, called a Deluxe Gift, is white with a gold ribbon and contains all of the power-ups: a Super Mushroom, Fire Flower, Super Leaf, Boomerang Flower, and Statue Leaf.
