Template:Species-infobox Scaratroopeas (called Soaratroopeas in the Prima guide[page number needed]) are flying Elite Troopeas that appear in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga and its remake, Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser's Minions. Scaratroopeas are found in Joke's End, and are usually accompanied by Glurps and Clumphs; in the remake, they can be fought alone whenever the Mario Bros. are seperated from each other.
They are a more powerful variant of Paratroopea and the strongest members of the Troopea family. Like other Troopeas, they appear as quadrupeds in the original game, and in the remake they are bipedal and wear shoes.
Battle
Scaratroopeas attack in the same way as Paratroopeas, diving at Mario and Luigi from the sky, while moving faster and dealing more damage. If ones dip a little before rising into the sky, they target Luigi; if not, their target is Mario. They also have the ability to heal other team members.
Scaratroopeas appear as enemies in Minion Quest: The Search for Bowser, alongside Paratroopeas. They are Flying troopers, and attack by ramming into opponents. Their Special Skill, Cranium Crush, allows them to fly above an opponent and slam down on them.
