*Dai Goros' faces somewhat resemble Spongebob's face from the hit Nickelodeon show Spongebob Squarepants because of them having similar dimples and irises. The only difference is theirs is red while Spongebob's are blue.

Dai Gorō (ダイゴロー[1], meaning "Big Grrrol") are larger Grrrols which first appear in New Super Mario Bros. U along with their smaller counterparts. They are similar to Spiny Tromps from the Paper Mario series.
