Ice Snifits attack by spitting multiple snowballs out of their mouths, which can be avoided by [[jump]]ing over them. They can also spit a chunk of ice that slides slowly on the ground toward the target; the Mario brothers can counter this attack with their [[Hammer]]s. An Ice Snifit in the Scrapbook Theater

Ice Snifits made out of yarn with wooden masks appear in Yoshi's Woolly World in World 5, this time wearing blue coats rather than red. They attack by shooting a freezing mist. If Yoshi gets caught in their icy breath, the Yoshi will freeze and slide away until he falls into a body of water or a bottomless pit, or knocks into a ledge. Ice Snifits can be defeated by any attack. At the end of World 5, Kamek empowers an Ice Snifit to grow in size, becoming Snifberg the Unfeeling.
