The Classic NES Series is a series of video games for the Game Boy Advance that are ports of old NES video games with the only changes being the graphics, which were "squished" to fit the GBA screen. In Europe, the series was called "NES Classics". In Japan, each game is called a Famicom Mini. Several of these games were only released in Japan.

Mario games released were:

  • Classic NES Series: Donkey Kong - it should be noted that this game does not include the "pie factory" level, a level exclusive to the arcade version of the game. Presumably the level was kept out due to the game being a port of the NES version. This port was released on June 7, 2004 in North America, and on July 9, 2004 in Europe.
  • Classic NES Series: Dr. Mario - This port was released on May 21, 2004 in Japan, and on October 25, 2004 in North America.
  • Classic NES Series: Super Mario Bros. - This port was released on February 14, 2004 in Japan, and on June 7, 2004 in North America.

Japan only games:

  • Famicom Mini: Mario Bros.
  • Famicom Mini: Super Mario Bros. 2 - This is a remake of the Lost Levels, as Super Mario Bros. 2 is what the Lost Levels are called in Japan. Follow the link to the game's page for more information.
  • Famicom Mini: Wrecking Crew
