Template:Kart-infobox The Mushmellow is a kart resembling a Mushroom first seen in Mario Kart DS. The kart's name is a portmanteau of "mushroom" and "marshmallow", also including the word "mellow". In Mario Kart Arcade GP 2 and Mario Kart Arcade GP DX, a similar kart called the Mash Run appears, with the Japanese names implying it is a variant of the Mushmellow.

History

Mario Kart DS

The Mushmellow is Toad's first special kart. It has average handling tying with the Standard LG, Streamliner, ROB-BLS and Standard RB. It also has average drift matching the Hurricane, Standard TD and Standard BW. It has fairly low speed, matching the Standard TD and Royale. It has low weight tying with the Egg 1. Its items stat is low, but features and high acceleration tying with the Standard TD, Egg 1, Standard YS and Cucumber.

The kart is unlocked for Yoshi and Dry Bones as well when the player gets gold trophies in all Nitro or Retro Courses in 150cc, and becomes available for everyone else when gold trophies are obtained in every cup in Mirror Mode.

Mario Kart Tour

The Mushmellow returns in Mario Kart Tour. It uses the Pipe Frame's tires. It is classified as a Normal kart, and yields more points while using Jump Boosts. The game also introduces two variants, named the Pink Mushmellow, which also has the Normal classification, and Cheermellow, which is a High-End kart exclusive to the Winter Tour.
