World 1 (NSMB)

World 1 is a place that is found in the game, New Super Mario Bros.. This place was actually around Princess Peach's Castle. The ground had grass and flowers growing on it, since it is a grassland-themed world like World 1 in some other games. This is where Mario and Luigi's adventure started as they go aroud the levels. This world takes place in the Mushroom Kingdom.

Bowser Jr. was fought here for the first time, and Bowser was the first boss in the game, not counting Bowser Jr. who's a mini-boss. After defeating Bowser, the brothers would go to World 2.
