World 5-Tower is the Tower level of World 5 in the game New Super Mario Bros.
Layout[edit]
This level takes place in a tower that has a Lift that Mario must ride up to the top of the tower. Soon after the Lift begins moving, some Spiked Balls fall onto the platform. Mario needs to keep jumping to avoid damage. The Spiked Balls later roll away through holes in the wall, some taking longer than others. Sometimes, Dry Bones get onto the platform, but the Spiked Balls crush them soon after. If Mario stays to the right of the platform, he can get the first Star Coin. Then, by staying in the middle, the second Star Coin can be obtained. After there are two Spiked Balls together on the platform, Mario should stay to the left to avoid being damaged by a Giant Spiked Ball, which destroys the other two Spike Balls. When the path splits into two, Mario should take the right path to get the final Star Coin. Soon, Mario reaches the double doors. Slippery ice covers the ground during the fight with Bowser Jr. This time, however, it is possible to jump on him or hit him with fireballs.
Star Coins[edit]
- Star Coin 1 - Mario should avoid the Spiked Balls while staying on the right side of the moving platform to get the first Star Coin.
- Star Coin 2 - After the first coin, Mario should stay in the middle to get the second Star Coin.
- Star Coin 3 - Mario should take the right path when the path splits into two to collect the final Star Coin.
