RevertingEdit

Please do not revert edits without explaining why. "Enormous" is an unnecessary adjective, and Wikipedia doesn't seem to classify the Amazon Rainforest as a jungle, just "forest" or "rainforest" (aside from the "Amazon Jungle" alternative name).

You've already been told not to change things if there's nothing that needs changing, so please don't do that. Also, your edits have had some grammar and spelling mistakes, please look over your edits before saving them.    21:36, March 30, 2019 (EDT)

I'll undo it. -The CoolYoshi

What? We are Pink Donkey Kong Jr. for April Fools?Edit

Junior (II) is a character in Donkey Kong Jr. Math. He is the second player of that game. I'm The CoolYoshi here and everyone could comment here. Although, he is a character in a math game, I created my new game called Yoshi's Island: Let's Study Ecosystems. If you are a Yoshi fan, that is the fan-made game you're going to get. The game is based off of Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island, a game for the Super Nintendo. It will come on the Nintendo Switch sometime this year.

-The CoolYoshi

ItalicsEdit

Please do not remove the apostrophes from game or series titles. They are used to format the name in italics, which is required for titles.   Mario JC 21:29, April 2, 2019 (EDT)

Italics apply when adding titles: you need to italicize titles with two apostrophes (') such as with Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Doomhiker (talk)  18:45, April 7, 2019 (EDT)

Edit warringEdit

This is a warning to stop your inappropriate behavior (edit warring) on the Super Mario Wiki. Please adhere to the rules or you will be blocked from editing this site.
If you feel this warning was undeserved, you may appeal it.

If your edits are being reverted, do not revert them back (and don't claim your edits are "better", when they are clearly full of typos, incorrect grammar, and broken code). You discuss your edits with the reverter, not constantly changing the article content.    14:26, April 6, 2019 (EDT)

Additionally, people will undo your edits if they think something is wrong. You can't tell people not to edit, that is not the point of the community.    17:00, April 6, 2019 (EDT)
Please stop adding "Do not undo my work!" in your edit summaries. And take better care of your grammar and coding. If you need help, you can ask for it.    19:13, April 7, 2019 (EDT)
See MarioWiki:General disclaimer. Doomhiker (talk)  19:13, April 7, 2019 (EDT)

This is your last warning. The next time you break the rules in any way, you will be blocked from editing the Super Mario Wiki.
If you feel this last warning was undeserved, you may appeal it.

This edit is exactly what Alex95 told you not to do above. Again, if your edits are reverted for whatever reason, do not simply re-add them, and instead discuss them on the article's talk page. Only if you're confident that a majority of people will truly accept your edits do you re-add them.   (T|C) 20:05, April 7, 2019 (EDT)

"Do not undo my work!" is very useless for my edit summaries.Edit

Here's why that I do not put "Do not undo my work!" in my edit summaries:

  1. Super Mario Wiki is a wiki about the Mario franchise.
  2. There are many users trying to edit on this wiki.
  3. I am one of them.
  4. My username is "The CoolYoshi"!
  5. This wiki is created in 2005.
  6. This wiki is NOT a wiki for fanmade Mario games!
  7. Users of the Super Mario Wiki like me research stuff about Mario and add them to this wiki!
  8. Other than English, The Super Mario Wiki is also in German and Italian.
  9. The Italian version of the Super Mario Wiki is called Mario Castle.
  10. And other users undo my work!

I will remember to check my work of articles of this wiki. It's been almost 14 years since this Mario-based franchise has came out. And I am the one that is the newest user in this wiki! If you want to show the rules of the wiki cilck here.

This has nothing to do with the situation.   (T|C) 20:27, April 7, 2019 (EDT)

WHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAATTTTTTT THE HECK! I'm so sorry, Toadette the Achiever, but this has nothing to do with that. But, I need some help. I need to not make edits that Alex95 said in the last section.
The preceding unsigned comment was added by The CoolYoshi (talk).

The all-caps and bolding was a bit unnecessary. TheDarkStar   20:37, April 7, 2019 (EDT)
Just don't simply re-add the edits you made that were reverted by other users, discuss your reverted edits on talk pages instead, and you should be good to go.   (T|C) 20:39, April 7, 2019 (EDT)
And look over MarioWiki:Good writing. That should help. TheDarkStar   20:41, April 7, 2019 (EDT)

Can I ask what about the current wording of articles doesn't makes sense to you that you need to change it?   Mario JC 22:01, April 7, 2019 (EDT)

Sorry, but this is it for now! I'm on my original talk page, right now and I'm Alex the Toad!

Everything above this line was carried over from user's previous The CoolYoshi account

The CoolYoshiEdit

Do you know The CoolYoshi (talk)? You share the same IP address. Having more than one account is not allowed, but let me know if there was an issue with the previous account.    21:21, April 9, 2019 (EDT)

Please respond before you continue editing further.    21:43, April 9, 2019 (EDT)

Be aware too that regardless of which account you use, your warning record still carries over, so you can't create an account to start on a clean slate if that's your intention (you only just edited on your old account two days ago). Either one you use, you will be blocked if you continue ignoring the advice that was given to you on your original talk page, since you're on a last warning.   Mario JC 21:55, April 9, 2019 (EDT)

This doesn't answer the original question. Can you still access your first account? If so, please continue using it.   Mario JC 22:02, April 9, 2019 (EDT)

Something about the article "Fire Flower."Edit

Please, make Fire Flowers not plural. Just add "A Fire Flower is" in this article. I wish you can do it. -Alex the Toad

Answer the above question. Anyways, we're not doing that because it looks worse. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 21:50, April 9, 2019 (EDT)

New accountEdit

Reminder that this is the last time you can create a new account. You can't keep starting new ones as you feel like it. Any more created will be blocked, regardless of the reason.   Mario JC 20:42, May 31, 2019 (EDT)

First-person on articlesEdit

Some of your more recent article edits are using first-person terminology, such as "you," for instance. This sort of writing is not allowed on the Super Mario Wiki. Instead, we use third-person terms, such as "[insert character's name here]," "the player(s)," etc. If you keep on using first- or second-person terms, there might be future punishments. – Owencrazyboy9 (talk) 11:41, June 29, 2019 (EDT)

StubsEdit

The page(s) you recently created (30-Coin) has/have been put up for deletion, has been deleted, or turned into a redirect. This may be because it violated at least one of the policies and/or guidelines of the Super Mario Wiki. There are some things you can do to ensure this doesn't happen again.
  1. Make sure there is no other article about the same subject with a different title, especially for conjectural articles.
  2. Make sure the article has enough information to make it a worthwhile read (i.e. it does more than state the obvious, such as "Luigi's Mansion is a mansion that is owned by Luigi"). Overly short articles are known as stubs and their creation is strongly discouraged; it is better to amass enough information to make a solid article right off the bat instead.
  3. Make sure the article is significant enough in the Super Mario franchise to have its own article.

If the article has only been tagged to be deleted you can still fix or expand it, but an administrator may delete it at any time, so please act quickly. Thank you for reading, and keep contributing!

Hi, please don't create articles that are merely a rephrasing of the title. I've been gracious enough to expand out the article in question instead of tag it for deletion, but in all seriousness, this is something that should be done by the creator of the article; in other words, don't create an article with little to no information to begin with. Thank you for your understanding.   (T|C) 15:20, June 29, 2019 (EDT)
