The 'Shroom Spotlight

Hello readers of The 'Shroom, and welcome to Spotlight. Spotlight is a community project which aims to fix up the articles on the wiki which have issues. These issues can range from poor writing, to a lack of images, to even just needing a credible source.

Expecting Yoshi876? TOO BAD. WALUIGI TIME. They always said I was a spotlight stealer, wahaha! I'm filling in here at Spotlight this month, because articles in need of maintenance never sleep! Well, neither do articles that don't need maintenance. Articles in general just don't sleep at all.

We made some good progress last month, with four goals being completed! RHG1951 (talk) filled a hole in our hammer collection by creating an article for Shiny Hurlhammer, while Super Mario 3D Land had its trivia cleaned up by Somethingone (talk) and Ggeihsoy (talk). WildWario (talk) updated File:Daisy swings club MGTT screenshot.jpg with a clearer image, and finally, ChompworksEngineer (talk) found a new source for Penguin Mario. Unfortunately, Junior Clown Car and Crystal Banana went untouched, but we still made some good progress, in my opinion.

And now onto this month's focuses:

Article Category Focuses
Fishing spot
Wanted article
All of the editors must have gone fishing, because there's still no article for these spots from Paper Mario: The Origami King. See if you can reel in some information to make this article a real catch.
Shifting Sands
Stub article
Like the other courses in Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour, this one has 18 holes, but we don't have information on any of them! Let's shift some more information over here so we can find out exactly what's in these sands.
Nintendo GameCube
Rewrite and expansion required
Well, we needed something vaguely related to Super Mario Sunshine, didn't we? The development section is pretty empty right now, only containing five sentences that all talk about its abbreviation.
Lava Dome
Articles that need more images
Things are heating up in this world from Mario vs. Donkey Kong 2: March of the Minis, but we don't have a lot of images to show it. Add some more images to illustrate the levels in the Lava Dome.
File:SMS Artwork Wind Spirit.png
Image quality requested
The only thing more annoying than this enemy is the quality of its artwork. It originates from the game's Shogakukan guidebook, so hopefully a better scan can be obtained.
Il Piantissimo
Citation needed
The article states that if you rematch Il Piantissimo, he'll give you more of a challenge as he'll now run the race with your previous best time. Unfortunately, we don't have a source to back this claim up.

Now just before I leave you, I'd like to tell you about unimplemented proposals. There are currently thirty-four that need to be implemented, dating as far back as 2018, so think of this as a continuous Spotlight goal until they're all completed. Additionally, there are many unresolved discussions that we would love to see come to some sort of conclusion. Some might have already concluded and just need the template removed, others have been waiting for a response for years.

Thanks for tuning in to the newest edition of The 'Shroom Spotlight! Be sure to turn up next month, where we'll be reviewing the progress on the above focuses. If you have any questions or suggestions about this month's set of the article focuses, then please get in touch through the dedicated topic if you have a forum account. If not, then please contact Yoshi876 on his talk page, but you are far more likely to get a quick response if you go through the forums. You are also welcome to make suggestions on what you think we could focus on in our next edition! Thank you, and good luck!
