—Nintendo of America[2]

"Fossil Falls"[3][4] is an orchestral musical theme composed by Naoto Kubo for Super Mario Odyssey, where it plays in the Cascade Kingdom and the first underground section of Darker Side. This theme serves as the main theme for the entire game, with various arrangements being included in cutscenes, jingles, and other areas of the game.

An early take of this theme that used synthesized instruments instead of live performances is used in the game's first trailer.
