World 3-4 is the fourth and final level of World 3 in Super Mario Bros. and the twelfth level overall in said game.
Layout[edit]
The player starts in a hall with small platforms separated by gaps, with Fire-Bars located in the center of the platforms and Podoboos jumping up between them. After the platforms are three ? Blocks, with the one in the center containing a power-up. Next are three sets of Fire-Bars the player has to jump between followed by more gaps with Podoboos jumping up from the lava below, and the fake Bowser ahead will start breathing fire as the player is jumping across the gaps. The fake Bowser has a Brick Block barrier and a horizontally moving platform above him.
Super Mario Bros. Deluxe challenges[edit]
In Super Mario Bros. Deluxe, the player can collect five Red Coins, find a hidden Yoshi Egg, and get a medal based on their score. The Yoshi Egg is found in one of the Hidden Blocks placed between the second and third dual Fire-Bars, and the score to beat is 13000. The Red Coin locations are:
- Above the middle platform in the starting area
- Above the lava pit after the ? Blocks
- In between the first and second dual Fire-Bars
- Above the center lava pit before the fake Bowser
- To the left of the Brick Block wall in the fake Bowser area
