More Mario Series Recommendations

In the common items section, you list Mini Mushroom and Mega Mushroom. But for Mini Mushroom you wrote they are "fairly rare" even though they are in the common items section. And Mega Mushrooms are probably as rare as well. So I would actually just remove those two sections from the article, and then actually move Coin into items as it is more of a collectible than an interactive object. -- Son of Suns (talk)

Well it's up for debate, but the Mini and Mega Mushrooms don't appear in many of the games listed in game overview at the beginning of the article. They may have one major appearance, but then a few little ones. Also, Peach and Toad used Poison Mushrooms in Super Mario Kart, not Mini Mushrooms (I corrected that information in the Mini Mushroom page). Perhaps Poison Mushroom would be a good replacement for both Mini and Mega, as it appears in the main series, the kart series, the Mario Party series, and the Smash Bros. series. -- Son of Suns (talk)

Oh, and I think we should actually create an article about the concept of "Switches" just as we should have an article about the concept of "Blocks," so I wouldn't add it to the article...or at least I wouldn't list every type of switch, but just have one entry about the general concept and mention the varieties, then link to a future Switches page. -- Son of Suns (talk)

That sucks - generally I'm the one with computer grievances, so I feel your pain. Anyway, I'm fine with carrying on our conversation here; this also means we can talk about MWiki business at the same time XD First of all, congrats on beoming a 'Crat, and so soon after becoming a Sysop too; it reminds me of me (and 1337) over on Userpedia - funny how these things go... I have a funny story too: my Dad was moving a potted plant from one lizard cage to another yesterday, and as he tranferred pots, an egg dropped out. Further investigation yielded a half-dozen more eggs we had no clue our lizard laid in the first place, and a baby; three more chameleons have hatched today - it's insane! Back to the Wiki: SoS and I were discussing Templates over on Talk:Dragon Wario the other day, and you might wanna take a look, seeing as it's primarily your templates conscerned. Yeah, when DP said Steve finally listened to his (and others') reccomended staff-changes the other day, I thought he just means Steve said he'd do something; I'm a pessimist :P But the fact that I lost-out to Princess Grapes Butterfly to be the first female MWiki Sysop validates my glass-is-half-empty mantra ;_; We might keep a couple, but we generally try to sell as many of the babies as we can, because otherwise our house will explode from all the lizards XO "Walko" is fun, but I think "Walk" is the coolest nickname. I used to call my lizard "Walky" for short, but I've decided that's too cutesy for me. That's considerate of you: now my computer's memory shall be preserved! It's cool to think Steve listens to other people like that, instead of being a total dictator; though I heard his decision to promote Grapes has gone over like a lead balloon... At least I can cling to being the First Extended Super Mario Wikiverse Female Bureaucrat (that's a mouthfull), but if that gets overshadowed, heads will role </egoism> We do our best to make sure the babies survive; we keep them for months before selling them, to make sure they have a good start on life :D Someone called me "Walk" while asking for some images being deleted over on Userpedia, and I thought it was the coolest thing (if only I could remember who it was -_-'). DP calls you "Stooby" in all our conversations, so it's become second nature for me to do it too (hope ya don't mind - blame DP, not me XO). The </span> thing's what messes me up too (the sigs streak); I also phase-out sigs with lots of pictures to preserve my computer's memory and cut loading time. You're too kind: I've gotta edit WAY more before I'd be Sysop-worthy (though that didn't really matter on Userpedia, which still baffles me to no end). I like some bugs, but not most of 'em. In the past I tried to make as few edits as possible - doing articles all at once instead of section-by-section, to spare the Admins the task of patrolling it all. Then I became a Sysop over on Userpedia and discovered that it was easier to patrol edits when they were done section-by-section, because it was easier to focus of looking for typos (I found that by the time I got to the ends of big articles I just didn't care anymore). I also realized no one really patrols anyway, so all I was doing was making myself seem less contributive. So now I edit section-by-section; but I still Preview, because typos are FTL. Of course, the amount of stuff I do is still dependant on school - I've had WAY too much homework the past few days, and I've been putting off my University applications for a month <_< Same here; I also like Dragonflies: they're cool and they eat mosquitoes! "Return" to the Wiki

Well, it's not like I've been away. I still check my watchlist every day, whether there's some user rename requested or a new proposal I have something to say for. But now I'm no longer bureaucrat (which is a correct decision concerning my inactivity) and I had nothing to do any more.

Yeah, I just got my end-of-year report. I failed Maths with a D (E for the exam). Epic fail... LOL, half the stuff they teach in that subject has no use in future life.

I'm worried that this Christmas will be terrible, because there are no decent new games coming out. Seriously, can you even name one Mario game, for Wii or DS, that has been released shortly before Christmas? I can't. And I always get at least 2 games for Christmas each year , but this year I don't even know what I want. If I get no good games, Christmas is wasted, meaning the whole year is wasted. The only thing that gets me through each year is the thought that at least the end brings a great reward. But this year... do you understand my philosophy?

Hi, Stooben, sorry for answering so late on this. I saw that someone created an article on me in Userpedia, so I guess sprites and stuff are needed for this. Well, some years ago, I made a personal sprite that was a recolored Kirby with cyan skin like Ice Kirby, blue feet/shoes and a red cap like Wheel Kirby's one, so with a color scheme like this:

Are you serious? Wow... your connection is worse than mine, except it's in the decent scale at the least. The internet's taking it for the worst I'm afraid... Guitar Hero?! Lawl, my lil' bro wanted to play that game SERIOUSLY. Despite that we now have the Xbox 360, he's playing Call of Duty 2 or 4 right now. I'm starting to build up my gaming blocks right now, starting with some causal games. Since I rarely played a next-gen gaming console, I have no idea what the real deal is going to be... I was hyped to play the Spyro and Crash series back then in 1999. I was once having a phobia of playing a game of Tetris, (or Tetris Plus as the actual title). Those damn spikes gots me really nuts! So I rather lock the door and cover myself. My fear went away when my lil bro and I played VS. Battle together. Wow, that was profound. :O Some other great bass-filled songs are Starlight and Plug In Baby; both underrated by incredible guitar and beats but still quite fantastic. I do not have to redo the year. However, one of my chosen subjects is Specialist Maths (which you have to do on top of Maths Studies, the regular course) - a very advanced course which the maths nerds all choose. However, I dunno if they'll let me in with my result... I hope they do, as Hess is doing it.
