Please avoid adding excessive amounts of non-noteworthy trivia that deal with the first or only character(s) meeting certain criteria. Super Star

Looks like the glitch of running into a Star with Triple Shells could be the result of hacks. Mario jc says he attempted it and it went fine, so unless you can provide a way to show the crash with out hacks involved, please stop adding the information. 19:12, 11 September 2018 (EDT)

It think there's a reason.

The star replaces the red shell. The red shell uses an effect when it is broken (little bits of the shell go flying).

The star doesn't have anything on the disc that tells it to use this effect so when it is hit, it doesn't know what to do and freezes.
