This list groups Bonus Videos by type. It includes their original upload dates and links to their official YouTube uploads on the American version of the New Super Mario Bros. U Channel.

The titles used in this list are from the American English localization of New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe. However, different sources and localizations usually lend additional English titles for these videos: some originate from the American YouTube channel, while others from the British variant of the channel (being later used in both English localizations of New Super Mario Bros. U + New Super Luigi U). Similarly, the titles have also been localized in other languages. Since New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe omits the Boost Mode available in prior releases, the videos that showcase this mode are absent from this release of the game.

1-Ups (Advanced)

Near the end of the course, there are four Dry Bones in an alcove to the left, and above them is a shaft concealed by a false wall. The player stomps on one of the Dry Bones, then slides along the wall in the shaft before stomping on the next Dry Bones walking in. As the player performs this action to stomp on the four Dry Bones successively without touching the ground, the ones stomped earlier revive and can be stomped again, allowing the player to repeat the process indefinitely. This technique nets the player multiple 1-Ups.
Acorn Plains-3	Yoshi carries Luigi	December 21, 2012	Co-op playthrough of Yoshi Hill in which one player (controlling Mario) uses Yoshi to carry the other player (controlling Luigi) to the goal. This video showcases a trick where Yoshi repeatedly spits out Luigi to let him stomp on the course's enemies, then quickly takes him back into his mouth before he touches the ground, which nets Luigi's player multiple 1-Ups.
	Follow the fireball to earn 1-Ups	December 28, 2012	In Yoshi Hill, Yoshi takes a Fire Piranha Plant's fireball in his mouth and spits it back at the plant from the right side. The fireball travels to the left, with the player following it backwards through the course. As the fireball strikes multiple enemies, the player receives many 1-Ups.
Layer-Cake Desert-2	Synchro ground-pound Pokeys for 1-Ups	January 11, 2013	Three-player playthrough of Perilous Pokey Cave showcasing a trick where the players can earn many 1-Ups using the Ice power, Synchro Ground-Pounds, and Pokeys. When freezing a Pokey, its segments break apart into individual elements; if enough frozen segments are on-screen, players earn extra lives by destroying them all with a Synchro Ground-Pound. As the course abounds with Pokeys, this trick is demonstrated at various moments in the video. Other enemies encountered in the course, such as Swoops, are also defeated if they are on-screen while the technique is used, contributing additional 1-Ups.
Sparkling Waters-3	Do the Cheep Cheep Hop for 1-Ups	January 24, 2013	In the area with large Water Geysers just before the goal in Above the Cheep Cheep Seas, the player stomps on a long series of flying Cheep Cheeps while remaining airborne, earning multiple 1-Ups in the process.
