The histories between the Japanese names Osaru-san and Ukiki seem less complicated than I thought they would be, but it may be worth elaborating on in the future. Designs that are clearly supposed to be the SMW2 monkey in YNI and recent Mario Party games are called "Ukiki." Perhaps around SM64DS, they were internally merged into one entity, assuming they ever were truly supposed to be different in the first place. undo
