Shouldn't this article be conjectural? Also, should we move it to its name in Super Paper Mario?

Reopening this discussion, where does the name "Regen" come from? It feels decidedly un-Mario-ish, and doesn't make it immediately clear what the effect does. I also don't recall any instances of this term being used in any of the games listed on this page. If it's derived a file name (such as "Gradual") it needs to be clarified in the article somewhere. - Actually, after some further investigation, all the in-game sources I could find usually seem to refer to these states as HP-Up or FP-up, which would be a higher priority source than "Gradual," and a more frequently used title than wherever "Regen" came from. I checked the history of this page, and found no sources for the that title.
- I also don't understand why HP-Up and FP-up are sharing an article either. Yes, they essentially do the same thing, aside from affecting different stats, but that hasn't generally stopped us with other articles. Unless anyone has any particular objections to make, I believe we should move/rewrite this page to focus on HP-Up, and split FP-Up into its own article. And possibly give "Regen" a spot on BJAODN due to how bizarrely out of place the name is. Any thoughts on the matter? Wandering Poplin (talk) 19:32, January 16, 2026 (EST)
- "Regen" is nowhere in the games' text (not that bizarre of a name, it's just gamer lingo), but neither are "HP-Up" and "FP-Up". Where did you find those names exactly?
