Talk:Kat and Ana's swords

From the Super Mario Wiki, the Mario encyclopedia

I suggest that this article be merged with Kat and Ana.--FREAK ~Game GameBros.png Freak~ OUT!

The reason why this article was created at all is that it is one of Dr. Crygor's Inventions. How can be determined what WarioWare-exlusive invention is worth an article and what isn't? --Grandy02 13:09, 21 November 2009 (EST)

Merge with Kat and Ana[edit]

Settledproposal.svg This talk page proposal has already been settled. Please do not edit any of the sections in the proposal. If you wish to discuss the article, do so in a new header below the proposal.

merge 8-0
A formal proposal on the above. All of the information in this is pretty obvious. Just because it's one of Crygor's inventions doesn't mean is deserves an article.

Support[edit]

  1. Vommack (talk) Per proposal.
  2. SuperYoshiBros (talk) It's not really that notable, other weapons consistently used by characters (i.e. Bowser's tail, Link's sword) don't have articles here.
  3. Ghost Jam (talk) Per all.
  4. Koopakoolklub (talk) Per all.
  5. Lumastar (talk) This article can easily be a section of Kat and Ana's general information.
  6. Stonehill (talk) They should have been merged in the first place.
  7. GBAToad (talk) Per all.
  8. Walkazo (talk) - Per all.

I just don't get why things like this (well, not really) don't have a set standard in the first place. If anything, ask for a set standard to be made. - Ninelevendo's Sig Image 08:44, 27 June 2014 (EDT)
Mario's Cap and Goomba's Shoe both have gameplay purposes, at least. A lot of the Crygor's Inventions pages shouldn't have article at all.--Vommack (talk) 12:44, 27 June 2014 (EDT)
We do have an unwritten standard for these things. The rule of thumb is if the item(s) in question are important and/or obtainable and/or usable by the player, they get an article. Items that don't fall into the later two that do have articles are normally iconic or series important items that keep showing up, like Koopa Clown Car. -- Shyghost.PNGChrisShyghost.PNG 14:04, 27 June 2014 (EDT)
Unlike most of Dr. Crygor's other inventions, Kat and Ana's swords are not something that would be associated with him. Plus, Kat and Ana's swords are not very important outside of usually being with Kat and Ana. Lumastar (talk) Super Mario Galaxy promotional artwork: A Green Luma
Stuff like Mona's Scooter, Jimmy T.'s cell phone, and Dribble and Spitz's taxi, though.... Icon showing how many lives Mario has left. From Super Mario 64 DS. It's me, Mario! (Talk / Stalk) 17:36, 27 June 2014 (EDT)
We should definitely get that cell phone merged, not sure about the scooter and taxi though. --Waluigi's head icon in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. Too Bad! Waluigi Time! 13:59, 28 June 2014 (EDT)

What good do the scooter and taxi do, though? The scooter states nothing but obvious information, and even then it can barely scrape together a paragraph. The taxi is an even worse offender. The cellphone is an obvious merger, the Kelorometer should be merged with its appropriate game mode; right now, the only things in that category I'd say actually deserve a page are the Wario Bike, Wario Car and Mike.--Vommack (talk) 14:05, 28 June 2014 (EDT)

As always, feel free to make a TPP for any or all of those articles. -- Shyghost.PNGChrisShyghost.PNG 16:32, 29 June 2014 (EDT)

Eh, as much as I myself would like a mass-merge, I guess it would be better to go on a case-by-case basis.--Vommack (talk) 19:55, 30 June 2014 (EDT)
