Ludwig's Thump Castle Hotel, labeled Ludwig's Castle Hotel on its entrance, is the fifth hotel found in Hotel Mario, owned by Ludwig. It is a horror-themed castle. The enemies found in this hotel are Skeleton Koopas, Boo Buddies, Big Boos and Pat the Bats. The doors in this hotel periodically vanish with some stages containing a door that is entirely invisible until Mario or Luigi enter it. These invisible doors lead to rooms that contain Bowser's Ghost Cologne which Mario or Luigi apply to themselves and stop the doors from vanishing. The boss stage is known as Ludwig's Frantic Lab.

Naming

"Thump Castle" is a pun on the real-life Trump's Castle.
