Pat the Bat[1] is a bat enemy in Hotel Mario. They first appear in Ludwig's Thump Castle Hotel. A certain number generates from underneath the lowest floor per stage. Pat the Bats fly around haphazardly and can open doors by touching them, like most enemies. Pat the Bats can be defeated from either a jump or a fireball.
