Kabutomushi are beetles that appear as enemies in Donkey Kong 3. They appear starting from round 18 (12 in the NES version) and go down to the bottom of the screen, just like Attackers, and then charge across full speed, attempting to hit Stanley.
In Donkey Kong 3: Dai Gyakushū, Kabutomushi fly in groups that reach the bottom of the screen. They take one hit to defeat, and are essentially a slower version of the Butterfly.
