Revision as of 06:37, July 5, 2019

It has been requested that this article be rewritten and expanded to include more information. Reason: include info on the seesaws from the New Super Mario Bros. games and Yoshi's Island series

This article is about a subject in an upcoming or recently released game. When the game is released, or more information about this subject is found, this article may need major rewriting. This notice should be removed after a month has passed since the game was first released.

This article is about the object from Super Mario Maker 2. For the object from Wario: Master of Disguise, see Seesaw (Wario: Master of Disguise).

Template:Item-infobox Seesaws[1] are objects that can be placed in levels in Super Mario Maker 2. They are orange platforms that tilt left or right to one side when the player or an enemy walks on them. Like normal Lifts, their length can be changed and they can be placed on tracks. In the Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros. 3, and Super Mario World styles, they appear to be metallic, but in the New Super Mario Bros. U style, they appear to be wooden.

In all styles where they are available, Seesaws can be abruptly tilted when a Thwomp falls on one side, causing any object on the other side, including any playable characters, to be thrown high into the air. This can also be achieved if a player ground pounds on the Seesaw (requiring a big Goomba's Shoe to do so in the Super Mario Bros. and Super Mario Bros. 3 styles).
