Dragoneel

Template:Newsubject Template:Species-infobox Dragoneels are gigantic white dragon-like eels that make their debut in the Wii U title, New Super Mario Bros. U. These enemies have eyes that resemble the eyes on a Porcu-Puffer, and large spiny red jaws. Also, they have long sleek white bodies with polka dots, and a long pink fin along their back. They closely resemble Gobblegut and behave similar to the Snorkel Snake as it will try to encircle players with its body.

A purple-colored version of the Dragoneel also exists. They are shorter and make tighter turns, but are significantly slower.

History

New Super Mario Bros. U

In New Super Mario Bros. U, Dragoneels are set to appear in the Sparkling Waters level, Dragoneel's Undersea Grotto. It follows the player throughout the underwater course, as the players must avoid his body. Throwing fireballs at its head will slow it down, but throwing them at its body will speed it up.
