Aboutfile

Hello, PowerKamek. Good job on your recent uploads, but when uploading files, keep in mind that you must correctly use the {{aboutfile}} template. What you were doing looks like this, and it is an inconvenience for other users to fix up the template. It is simple to learn how to format it correctly. The pre-loaded coding is shown below. {{aboutfile
|1=Subject of the image
|2=Where you found the image
|3=Artist
|4=Describe edits, if any
|5=Other versions (use file link)
}}
Just replace the necessary parts with that corresponding information, and remove the entire line of the variable(s) you don't use. If you do not wish to use the template at all, then it is acceptable to simply remove it before you upload the file. Please consider the above information before uploading more files. If you continue using {{aboutfile}} incorrectly, then a warning will be issued. Thank you for reading, and keep contributing. |

Construction template
You can't have the construction template on your userpage because it is for mainspace articles only. However, you can view and copy the source of the template onto your userpage as long as it is category free. (talk · edits)

Featured Article voting
When voting for a Featured Article, you need a reason why you're supporting or opposing. Also, you need more effort when creating articles, as one line articles are stubs. (talk · edits)

Welcoming users
Hi. As per welcome policy, you should not welcome an account unless they have made an edit to the wiki, that way we don't have welcome pages for accounts that aren't going to be doing anything. It's also probably better to make sure that the edits they are doing are constructive. Yoshi876 (talk)

Re: Mario Kart 8 News
I'm not entirely sure, but if you were to put it on there it'd probably be best to link it alongside something like "Nintendo confirms plans for more Mario Kart 8 and Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS/Wii U DLC". You might want to ask another admin before you do anything, as well, since I don't work on the News template very often, nor do I know how credible iDigitalTimes is - Turboo (talk) 01:54, 8 May 2015 (EDT)
News
We've already known that more Smash stuff is coming (costumes, Lucas, the ballot), but for Mario Kart I'd rather wait until more DLC is actually announced before saying something.
