Welcome, Phailure!  Welcome to the Super Mario Wiki!, the official and most complete wiki for everything Mario. I'm Glitchman, and let me just say that we're glad to have you as a member. If you have any questions whatsoever, feel free to post them on the FAQ talk page, or you could ask an experienced user and/or Sysop. If it's a problem that you can't fix yourself (e.g. the Mario Kart DS page needs to be rewritten but I've never played the game), try contacting someone that has experience in that subject. Feel free to chat in (you guessed it) the Chatroom, post your ideas and friend codes for games and such on the Forum, and read our community newspaper, the 'Shroom. If you want to get involved in editing and in the community, you may want to:
However, before you just sign up for these things willy-nilly just because you want to be apart of it, read about each one thoroughly before making the decision to sign up. For example, if you choose to write for the 'Shroom community newspaper, you must write your section and turn it in to the director EACH MONTH, so it's actually a big committment. Don't be afraid to delete this message when you're done reading it. After all, your user space belongs to you. I've noticed that Blitzwing is quite easily angered and states harsh comments when he bans users or undoes edits. He said that you would "Burn in hell for that". Images images images
Images is one of my favorite things in the wiki to manage it with pride. Go to the toolbox, at the bottom there is "Upload file", click that. Read the instructions before consider uploading. When your done, click the Browse or Choose file button when you see the two writable boxes. Pick the file you wanted to upload from the folder. As for the summary, use the {{Aboutfile}} and read the quick instructions. This is for image that are Mario related and if the image will be shown in articles respectively. If this is a personal image (like your sprite sheet), type {{personal-image| with your username in it. Don't worry, don't add "User:", just your username. Put the ending of the template with }}. And finally, licensing. Read Help:License for considering what kind of file is categorized as. When ready, open up the down arrow and pick the license that describes the file with perfection. Last step, and this is the most simplistic, Upload File. Click it and you finally did it! :3 There there young one. More will be learned as you will interact around the wiki.
