Image Files[edit]

Nice job with uploading K'NEX image files! You are not required to fill out all the fields in the aboutfile template. Remember, you can simply delete the other fields (and the brackets) if you're not using them. As a result, it should look like this in the summary:

{{aboutfile
|1=K'NEX set description
|2=Toywiz
|3=K'NEX
}}

Hello, Ma321. Good job on your recent uploads, but when uploading files, keep in mind that you must correctly categorize the file into a subject category. It's simple to learn how to do so. Just search for the correct category by starting with the following groups:

Images Audio/video files

When uploading, copy the full title of the category and insert it in square brackets into the summary text box below the {{aboutfile}} template, replacing the {{uncategorized}} template entirely. If you're using the upload function from the text editor, simply add the category link to the description. For example, images related to the game Super Mario World would use:

[[Category:Super Mario World images]]
or one it its subcategories. Media files would use:
[[Category:Super Mario World media files]]

Please consider the above information before uploading more files. Keep in mind that some files can belong to multiple categories. Do not put images into the media files category, or vice versa. If you continue uploading files without categorizing them correctly, then a warning will be issued. Thank you for reading, and keep contributing.

Hello, Ma321. Good job on your recent uploads, but when uploading files, keep in mind that you must correctly use the {{aboutfile}} template. What you were doing looks like this, and it is an inconvenience for other users to fix up the template. It is simple to learn how to format it correctly. The pre-loaded syntax is shown below.

{{aboutfile
|1=Subject of the image
|2=Where you found the image
|3=Artist
|4=Describe edits, if any
|5=Other versions (use file link)
}}

Just replace the necessary parts with that corresponding information, and remove the entire line for the parameter(s) you don't use. A description of the image subject (parameter 1) should always be included, even if it's just a few words. Please consider the above information before uploading more files. If you continue using {{aboutfile}} incorrectly, then a warning will be issued. Thank you for reading, and keep contributing.

Tinsy question about the Mario & Sonic manga[edit]

I have a friend that makes content about Yukio Sawada's Mario manga. He can fish it out himself, but do you have scans of that chapter available to share? My avatar's face to use in the signature Mariuigi Khed 14:00, July 31, 2025 (EDT)

Donkey Kong Bananza (Nintendo Music) track titles[edit]

Hey there, I appreciate your work adding meanings and romanizations to the Japanese track titles on Donkey Kong Bananza (Nintendo Music). I've noticed that "Title Theme" doesn't have this, and that certain tracks such as "Inside the Great Harmoneel" mistakenly place the romanization below the English title and not the Japanese one. Would appreciate if you could give it another look over and fix any issues, and then remove the todo template. Polley001 (talk) 08:55, July 24, 2026 (UTC)

    • Apologies for those errors. They have ben fixed. Ma321 (talk) 19:17, July 25, 2026 (UTC)
Thank you, just one more thing I've noticed if you don't mind, the romanization for "Nintendo Direct: Nintendo Switch 2 Trailer BGM" just repeats the Japanese title instead of romanizing any of the characters. Hopefully after that everything will be sorted. Also, just a pro tip, when replying in a talk page the standard is to use colons (:) and not asterisks, with the amount depending on which message you're replying to. Since you were replying to the top message, it should've had a single colon, and so my reply to your message uses two. Polley001 (talk) 19:57, July 25, 2026 (UTC)
