Variant of Panser

Red Panser[1]:79 or Panser (Red) are enemies in Super Mario Bros. 2. They are red-colored variants of Pansers that remain stationary. When they spot the player character, they start shooting two fireballs at a time in arcs toward the player's direction. They first appear in World 2-1 and reappear in World 2-2, World 2-3, World 3-1, World 3-3, World 5-1, World 5-3, and World 7-2. They usually appear at the top of pyramid-like platforms, where they often appear alone, though sometimes they can be found in pairs or with Pink Pansers or Gray Pansers near them. They can only be defeated by throwing an enemy, Vegetable, or Mushroom Block at them, as they cannot be picked up. If another colored Panser is also on screen, both will shoot one fireball instead of two, unless one of the two is defeated. In the remake, Super Mario Advance, Red Pansers, alongside Gray Pansers and Pink Pansers, shoot fireballs now at a slower pace.
