Introduction

So, hello there. I'm GameHero and I'm a gamer, as well as an artist and a (learning) animator and game developer. I have been a fan of the Mario games ever since I was a little kid (around the Wii era, so to say). The 3DS/Wii U era was the era that I fully explored video games in my life. This is my user page for MarioWiki so when I edit pages and update this page too.

Consoles

This section is dedicated to consoles I either currently own, or used to own. The following will be described below:

Nintendo

  • Wii - The very first console I own when I was very little (about 3-4 years old).
  • Nintendo 3DS - The first handheld console I owned when I got it on my fifth birthday.
    • Nintendo 3DS XL - The second version I got in 2012 (a year after I got my regular 3DS on my birthday).
    • Nintendo 2DS - The third version, although looking back, I should've kept the 3DS XL instead of getting this one.
    • New Nintendo 3DS XL - The four one, this time having improvements and new features such as built-in Amiibo connectivity and a small c-pad. Also, it got a few New 3DS exclusive games like Minecraft, for example.
    • New Nintendo 2DS XL - The last 3DS model I owned before I no longer owned and just like the 2DS, I should've kept the New 3DS XL instead of getting this one
  • Wii U - A home console I used to own alongside the 3DS when I was little.
  • Nintendo Switch - My previous console. I got it in July 2017 with 2 games, that being Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Splatoon 2.
    • Nintendo Switch OLED - My last Nintendo Switch-variant I used to own (before I switched (no pun intended) to the Switch 2). The variant I used to own was the Mario variant that released around the same time Super Mario Bros. Wonder came out.
  • Nintendo Switch 2 - My current console I own as of December last year.

Non-Nintendo

  • PlayStation 5 - My first non-Nintendo console I own, having received it during Christmas in 2022. Currently not in use, but considering Sony's plan to stop doing discs, it'll be used for occasional use, including DVDs.
  • Analogue Pocket - My second non-Nintendo console I own and the first non-Nintendo handheld one. An FPGA console designed to run Game Boy, Game Boy Color, and Game Boy Advance games, along with other games from non-Nintendo handheld games. It can also play games made in GB Studio via GB Studio mode.
