Proposal: Delete this page[edit]

This is a page for a single theme from Super Mario Kart. It has only ever appeared, reused or otherwise, in Super Mario Kart. Its most recent relevance is being added onto Nintendo Music with Super Mario Kart. I don't believe there should be a page for a one-off 2-bar track with minimal modern relevance. Unless I'm missing some past proposal, this page shouldn't even exist with its minimum appearances.

Delete this page[edit]

  1. The Eggo55 (talk) Per proposal.
  2. Mariofan28047 (talk) Yeah. Why have this page when it's barely got any usage?

Keep this page[edit]

  1. Arend (talk) Given the passing of this proposal about allowing the creation of articles for officially-named music tracks, I don't see why this shouldn't exist.
  2. Race Results (The Dab Master) Per Arend. Even if this article is fairly short, I don't think there's any need to delete it since it already exists.
  3. Power Flotzo (talk) Per the other two.
  4. EvieMaybe (talk) per all
  5. Hewer (talk) Per the proposal Arend linked, the point of which was to remove the requirement that a piece of music has to make an arbitrary minimum number of appearances before it can have an article. Any theme with an official name is now allowed to have an article, and this theme has an official name.
  6. Rykitu (talk) Per Arend.
  7. Camwoodstock (talk) No real to not give this song a page specifically when we've been permitting them for every other named track. Not every song is going to get re-used and be worth 20k bytes! Sometimes you'll just get these one-and-done tracks. That's not a failing of the song, nor is it indicative of it not deserving a page.
  8. Wandering Poplin (talk) Per all.
  9. Keegster2 (talk) Just because a song is short and only has one appearance doesn't mean it's not worthy of an article. Per all.
  10. Results (Super Altendo Fighters 2) Per all.

Comments[edit]

So, if this proposal fails (and it likely will at this rate), should we create articles for the other "Race Results" themes? They're all in a similar boat to this one, being short songs that have yet to appear in another game. Keegster2 (talk) 05:01, February 8, 2026 (UTC)

All named songs are already allowed to have articles, so yes (except Race Results (Mario) because it's an arrangement of Ground BGM and is thus already covered on that page). Hewer (talk · contributions · edit count) 18:06, February 8, 2026 (UTC)
