Merge with Lift?[edit]
I tried writing an article for this page, but there is hardly any information to use. Should it be merged with Lift, like Flimsy Lift? -- Green Star

- I agree on keeping it on Lift since they're basically their replacement in the 3D World style and the same thing. Flimsy Lift should be split eventually though.

- I said it before, and I will say it again: just because something acts the same does not mean it should automatically be merged. See Whirly Gate and Transformation Door. A general rule of thumb imo is that if something has a different name and looks different, and likely is not a redesign, then it is not the same thing and thus should not be treated as such. If it acts differently then it is an added bonus. Plus, regular Lifts appear in 3D World alongside Cloud Lifts (despite that the article does not mention it). So I think it's safe to say it's different. Also, Flimsy Lifts should 100% be split too. In fact, all of the other Lifts that are somehow merged on the Lift page should be split proper. Yeah, makes sense. I’ll try writing it again. Thanks for the info, guys. -- Green Star

Moving vs. unmoving clouds[edit]
![]() |
This talk page or section has a conflict or question that needs to be answered. Please try to help and resolve the issue by leaving a comment. |
This page includes several non-moving cloud platforms despite being titled "Cloud Lift." Either this should cover cloud platforms in general, or "Cloud (platform)"/"Cloud (object)" should be split from this into its own page. The issue that remains is some games, mostly 3D ones, have both moving and unmoving cloud platforms, though those also generally look a lot different from the specified "Cloud Lifts" that always move. - How do they differ visually? The only Cloud Lifts that are both stationary and moving in the same game that come to my mind are the ones in 3D World, which don't seem to have any visible difference.--PopitTart (talk) 17:36, May 31, 2025 (EDT)
- Galaxy has some like that, pretty sure, Sunshine definitely does. Note that both look like normal cumulus clouds rather than the flatter "Cloud lifts" in other games. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 17:37, May 31, 2025 (EDT)
