Are these remakes (which change gameplay, graphics) or simply ports with original graphics, controls, etc.? - Cobold (talk · contribs) 08:41, 12 January 2008 (EST)

They are mere ports, I think. At least that's what pretty much every reviewers says.

They're ports. I have played/have those games so... Paperjorgesp.png Paper Jorge Paperjorgesp.png

Wow, the proposal worked! This is what I wanted... wait a second! They didn't add sub-sections about the GBA ports in the main game articles! Orangeyoshi

Wait...[edit]

If the Famicom Mini Collection has English versions of the Mario games only in the Famicom Mini series not in the Classic NES series, does that mean that Super Mario Bros: The Lost Levels, Mario Bros, & Wrecking Crew had planned Classic NES series releases? Split Famicom Mini Collection[edit]

split 6-0
Per my previous, similar proposals. While it was never released, this is a separate game from the other Classic NES Series releases, functioning almost like a variation of Super Mario All-Stars, though presumably without graphical enhancements. We've split unreleased titles before, and, in addition, this game holds the distinction of being the only Super Mario franchise title to be released exclusively in China by iQue outside of the WarioWare: Touched! Adobe Flash games. There's enough here to comfortably fill an article, as there are more Super Mario titles than other titles in the collection (there are six Super Mario titles, and there are five non-Super Mario titles). This differs from previous package titles, such as Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt, in the sense that it is a predominantly Super Mario-based collection, instead of being a 50/50 split or being predominantly filled with other titles. It is a port in the vein of NES Remix, in the sense that multiple franchises are represented (though, of course, NES Remix adds an original concept to the mini-ports it provides).
