Spangle's Honey Pie is the third level of Gwarhar Lagoon in the Minion Quest: The Search for Bowser mode in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser's Minions.

Overview

Captain Goomba, Captain Shy Guy, and Captain Boo run into Spangle, who claims that Hermie III has kidnapped his "honey pie", who happens to be Starlow. A Bob-omb is also found in Hermie III's other claw, prompting Captain Goomba to give chase. After battling through many Pokeys, Starkisses, and Spear Guys, the Goomba Squad catches up just in time to see Starlow unhanding the Bob-omb. After rejecting Spangle, Starlow decides to enter the cutie battle contest, as does the Goomba Squad.

Trivia

• Hermie III is depicted in this level with the Beanstar piece on top of his shell. This is a continuity error, since this level occurs before Captain Goomba mistakenly gives the Little Fungitown arcade proprietor the Poison Mushroom that would cause Mario to contract Bean Fever. At this point in time, the Beanstar piece that would fall into Hermie's possession was still on the S.S. Chuckola.
