Pipe Gripe is the third mission in Mario Tennis Aces, taking place in Piranha Plant Forest.
Layout[edit]
Mario and Toad enter the Piranha Plant Forest, where Donkey Kong refuses to let Mario through unless he is beaten in a tennis match.
In the match, Mario must play a two-set match with Donkey Kong. If the ball is caught by a Piranha Plant, it will almost always be lobbed back to Mario. Donkey Kong can rally balls that fall close enough to him, but has trouble reaching balls far away from him.
Afterwards, Donkey Kong acknowledges Mario's skill and allows him to pass.
