Appears in Family BASIC V3

Keyboard Lesson is a minigame playable in Family BASIC V3. Instructions to code the minigame were published by Hudson Soft in the officially licensed magazine Nintendo no Family BASIC Nyūmon.

Gameplay[edit]

The player is to first choose a difficulty level, with the lowest difficulty being "1" and the highest being "5". Following this, the game will display a sprite near one of the letters of the alphabet, all of which are shown on-screen near two blue platform sprites. A Fighter Fly and a Fire are among the sprites that may appear. The player is to then press a certain key, after which the sprite will change locations. A This will repeat until the sprite has changed positions 30 times. The player receives points for pressing the correct key, the amount of which depends on their reaction time. Following this, the player will be shown their score and given the option to play again.
